The GNOC is our front-line for addressing physical network issues and operates 24x7x365 to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our physical network infrastructure. The team is responsible for performing data collection, triage, technical analysis, incident mitigation, and redirection as necessary to maintain and optimize operations.

**Responsibilities**
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
NOC Operations
+ Using existing procedures and tooling, develop and safely complete network changes
+ Mentor, onboard and train junior engineers

Provide guidance and operational support documentation to NOC and L1/L2 teams
+ Responsible for ensuring the Network infrastructure is built securely. Ensure mechanisms in place to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
+ Take a DevOps-first approach to Network configuration. Identify automation opportunities and put plans in place to implement them.
+ Responsible for evaluating Network performance and capacity to ensure that the business needs are met. Maintain relationships with all relevant vendors. Ensure compliance with all technology and application standards, including all relevant regulatory corporate compliance (PCI, SOX, HIPPA, GLBA, etc.); maintaining a service management attitude, promoting best practice throughout the technology team; ensuring Service Level Commitments are met and improvement opportunities are highlighted.
+ Responsible for providing regular communication of progress as required to management and stakeholders; ensure self-development plans are followed and training attended, when scheduled; coach new members of staff to ensure IT/ business expectations are met on a consistent basis; promoting existing and emerging technologies, to provide input on guidelines and roadmaps for future IT infrastructure developments.
+ Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior team members as appropriate.
**What We're Looking For:**
**_Education:_**
+ Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field
**_Experience & Skills_**
+ Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Network architecture and operations.
+ In-depth knowledge and experience in Networks, Routing and Firewalls, both on-premise and cloud hosted.
+ Working knowledge of cloud networking, particularly AWS cloud
+ Experience with routing/switching technologies (datacenters, wireless, wired, voice, video, convergence, security, remote access, load balancers, content filtering)
+ Experience of DNS as it pertains to enterprise networking and public domains
+ Experience of IPAM tools and processes
+ Experience of cloud-hosted Network and UC technologies
+ Experience in working on a diverse portfolio of projects.
+ Experience of working according to ITIL processes, e.g. Incident Management, Change Management.
+ Knowledge of scripting and DevOps tools as they pertain to Network configuration.
+ Knowledge / experience of third-party supplier / vendor management (network products, telecommunication services, cloud technologies and professional services).
+ Knowledge and experience of quality management principles and processes.
+ Knowledge in deploying, operating, and maintaining various network DDI tools and systems including InfoBlox, Route 53, Active Directory, BIND etc,
+ Experience in managing network management tools such as SolarWinds, Grafana
+ Excellent written and oral communications skills with demonstrated commitment to producing high quality documentation.
+ Ability to work well with others across many organizations including development, sales, marketing, finance, customer support, and field service.

+ Collaborate with IT leadership and Business partners as the expert networking resource in the EMEAI region to assess, recommend, project plan and implement network solutions in support of business initiatives.
+ Lead and control the implementation of network infrastructure, installing, configuring, and supporting equipment from leading vendors like Juniper, Palo Alto, HP, and cloud providers to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
+ Work independently with guidance in only the most complex situations, self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to deliver on objective with minimal supervision.
+ Extensively use Juniper Mist AI Assurance tool to streamline configuration management while using machine learning to predict failures, automate troubleshooting, and dynamically optimize resources for proactive network management and superior user experiences.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Manage multiple projects with effective project and time management against specific timelines, maintaining flexibility to travel and work non-standard hours to accomplish goals and liaise with the US West Coast team.
+ Hands-on working experience and proven troubleshooting skill in Juniper networking (switches, firewalls, MIST wifi), BGP, OSPF, network layer2 protocols and Aruba (formerly Silverpeak) SDWAN. Troubleshoot network issues, from routing issues to equipment failures.
+ Strong Juniper Mist AI Assurance know-how to streamline configuration management, automate troubleshooting and proactive network management.
+ Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
