Description
Purpose of the role:-
Design interface engineer to resolve and optimise product software to optimise and improve production processes with high focus on test time, yield and test coverage, Design, implementation and optimisation of test equipment and software for testing of product software and hardware.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Development, modification and control of functional test equipment during pre-series / prototype production and series production phase.
- To create test specification and develop test and analysis hardware and software. These will be used by the analysis department to test and de-bug failed parts from manufacturing and customers.
- Liaison between Design Engineers (German and Irish based), test equipment and production planning engineers.
- Some involvement in "quick response" situations for production test problems.
- Designing test fixtures for automotive electronics and high power electronics.
- Writing software algorithms, tools and specifications to test customer products and design.
- Development of Analysis instructions and specifications.
- Development of Analysis systems hardware and software.
