Main responsibilities:

Requirements

  • Manage all SLA's towards customers 100% Uptime (Temp., Hum, power, PUE/WUE, relation).
  • Responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of planned maintenance, that meets all standards and procedures, by leveraging competent contractor/vendor resources with attention to quality.
  • Ensures that the Manager of Operations is fully informed and briefed on all planned and corrective work occurring in the datacenter.

Qualifications

Our client, a precision engineering company in Louth are looking for a
Maintenance Engineer
to join their team.

The successful candidate will support, manage and improve plant maintenance program, in order to ensure safe, timely and efficient operation of all plant machinery and equipment.

Responsiblities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain all plant machinery to ensure safe, continual and efficient operations.
  • Ensure that periodic and preventive maintenance are appropriately scheduled and accomplished and that emergency troubleshooting and maintenance support are readily available as needed.
  • Manage maintenance goal setting, activity scheduling and work allocation to ensure measurable goals, proper workload distribution, goal satisfaction.
  • Monitor and continually improve maintenance processes and maintenance personnel performance to achieve enhanced levels of efficiency.
  • Coordinate with operational functions to identify potential inefficiencies or obsolete processes and/or technologies.
  • Produce detailed cost analysis on new opportunities in line with business processes.
  • Continually seek to drive improvements in equipment efficiencies and operational performance. Drive, support and participate in ongoing continuous improvement projects for machine downtime reduction.
  • Liaise with equipment vendors to establish appropriate preventive/predictive maintenance schedules.
  • Mentor and manage apprentices.
  • Ensure compliance to industry quality and environmental standards; develop and implement appropriate supporting documentation.
  • Share knowledge and experience with others and provide relevant training to colleagues, where required.
  • Any other duties as reasonably required.

Requirements:

  • Level 7 Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background working with CNC machines and robotics.
  • Experience working with and mentoring technicians or apprentices desirable.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven maintenance engineering skills

Job Description

Role Purpose

The Maintenance Engineer will support the maintenance Department in maintaining and optimizing utility/facility and process systems within the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring and performance trending of utility systems (e.g., purified water, steam, HVAC, compressed gases).
  • Support the review and documentation of preventive maintenance (PM) activities and engineering work orders.
  • Participate in equipment and system troubleshooting alongside experienced engineers and technicians.
  • Aid in drafting or revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), and Risk Assessments.
  • Assist in site walkdowns, project planning, and minor construction or equipment installation support.
  • Focus on maintaining plant reliability and efficiency, be pro-active in seeking ways to improve plant performance.
  • Support energy, sustainability, or continuous improvement initiatives as applicable.
  • Challenge systems, processes and procedures to drive change within the Maintenance/Operations function.
  • Support the planning, scheduling and tracking of calibration and maintenance schedules for critical equipment.
  • Contribute to safety and GMP compliance through good documentation practices and safe work behaviour (e.g. risk assessments, change controls and deviations).
  • Adhere to on-site safety rules and procedures.
  • Coordinate and manage maintenance-related contractor activities, including review of method statements, issuing Work Permits, etc.
  • Ensure service contracts are up to date and liaise with external vendors.
  • Assessment and identification of spare parts required.
  • Provide weekly and monthly KPI reports on maintenance activities.
  • Participate in site audits ensuring compliance.
  • (Possible) On call system support, including site attendance response if necessary.

Position Requirements

  • 3 years experience in the Pharmaceutical/ Medical device industry
  • Strong interest in pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with AutoCAD or CMMS software is a plus. Ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team across all departments.
  • SAP Experience is an advantage.

The Hoxton is gearing up to open its very first hotel in Ireland in the beautiful capital city of Dublin. This coastal city is steeped in history, packed with green parks and brought to life through music, art and the best social eating and drinking. We'll be calling central Dublin home but first we need to pull together a team to help us bring the Hox to this new market.

The Hoxton, Dublin will be home to 129 bedrooms of varying sizes, a lobby bar, historic bar, large ground floor restaurant and lobby restaurant, in addition to another first for us - a nightclub.

Job Description

What you'll do…

  • Carrying out of maintenance tasks, including preventative maintenance routines as per the departmental requirements in tiling, plumbing, and carpentry
  • Perform general tasks such as connecting equipment, lighting, installing locks and hinges etc.
  • Conduct periodic maintenance.
  • Carrying out installation work.
  • Accurate control of the work and your own workspace and equipment.
