Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide overall quality assurance leadership in the management of suppliers engaged in the production of Johnson and Johnson MedTech products.
- Provide complex product team support for quality system design and audit, compliance assessment, and for support of steady state manufacturing processes.
- Supplier Approval & Qualification.
- Supplier Development including Robust process implementation and InspectionReadiness.
- Change control management and qualification of supplier process changes and supplier transfers programs.
- Supplier Process validation and approval in line with internal and Regulatory requirements.
- Utilize multifaceted industry and process excellence standards on an expert level in daily quality operations, including good manufacturing practices (GMP), and international organization for standardization (ISO).
- Project management – planning, scheduling, tracking and execution of project activities as part of supplier and part qualification.
- Promote continuous improvement and Process Excellence activities within the Global Supply Chain
- Resolve problems & eliminate constraints to ensure project and supply targets are met.
- Work with the Sourcing teams to ensure the supply base is optimized to reflect the most efficient processes;
- Identify requirements for product approvals, transfers or obsolescence.
- Execute product equivalency assessments.
- Lead PVE with responsibility for associated documentation.
- Escalate timeline risk with mitigation recommendations.
- Collaboration with internal cross-functional team members and suppliers on timeline execution for SQE responsibilities.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure any supplier-based decisions are understood and accepted at site level.
- Connect – Interface with partners in Source, R&D Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Receiving Inspection, Manufacturing Quality Engineering, Quality Systems and suppliers serving multiple industries.
- Shape – Challenge critical thinking skills by solving supplier challenges, such as timely material qualification/maintaining production yield, while simultaneously navigating quality system requirements, engineering best practices, and supply chain demand.
- Lead – Take accountability for supplier qualification and performance by developing strong relationships with supplier executive leaders to drive improvements throughout the value chain.
- Deliver – Manage deliverables in a fluid environment with varying levels of complexity while maintaining alignment with multiple stakeholders
How to Succeed
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in an Engineering, Life Science, or related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a highly regulated industry is required.
- Experience in the Medical Device industry and/or Pharmaceutical industry is required.
- FDA and ISO regulations knowledge is required, with FDA CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485 knowledge required.
- Six Sigma, Lean, or Lead auditor Certification and trainings an asset.
- Work travel requirements ~ 10%.

The ideal candidate is both a strong technical leader and a collaborative partner. This is a role for someone who thrives on balancing day-to-day delivery with team leadership in the context of our small web team of 4 people. We are seeking someone who can bridge product and engineering to ensure that the web team delivers changes that are clean and robust.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery
: Direct cycle planning, prioritisation, and workload allocation for the web team, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. Maintain momentum on in-progress tasks, confirm completion standards are met, and self-assign tasks where appropriate. - Team Leadership
: Provide leadership and technical direction to the web team, proactively removing blockers and supporting professional growth. Coach team members on technical matters, promote knowledge sharing, and uphold a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Participate in the on-call rota during high-demand or high-traffic periods. - Maintenance & Improvement
: Balance maintenance activities with product and editorial priorities. Monitor logs and system alerts, addressing issues promptly. Systematically manage technical debt, ensure documentation standards are upheld, and propose improvements to both applications and workflows. - Collaboration
: Conduct regular reviews of pull requests to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Support knowledge transfer through pairing and ensemble sessions. Act as a liaison between engineering, product, design, and editorial teams to ensure clarity of requirements and effective delivery. - Technical Oversight & Standards
: Enforce robust coding, testing, and deployment practices. Ensure stakeholder requirements are met, design implementations match specifications, and that post-release monitoring is in place to detect regressions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a web management or senior technical leadership role.
- Fluent in
PHP, JavaScript
, and the ecosystem of technologies required to build and maintain modern, scalable web applications. - Deep understanding of coding standards, testing methodologies, deployment pipelines, and monitoring practices.
- Experience working with legacy code, improving current features and introducing new functionality without discarding the existing behaviour that is sometimes obscured.
- Well-versed in software engineering practices such as test-driven design, refactoring, and domain-driven design.
- Demonstrated ability to manage technical teams, delivery cycles, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience mentoring developers and cultivating a high-performance engineering culture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing technical debt and system health.
- Willingness to participate in on-call support for critical events.

The roles include opportunities in front-end and database project areas with exposure to leveraging emerging technologies and AI.
We are open to candidates who have recently graduated and/or have up to three years' experience. The Aspirico development office is located in a modern technology park in scenic Dingle, County Kerry. These roles can be based in Kerry or anywhere in Ireland with the option to work from a home office (or an agreed regional hub) on a full or part-time basis.All roles will have hands on mentoring, a detailed induction program, on the job training and access to systems, facilities and support staff needed to excel in your position.
Profile: Development/Analyst Consultant(s)
The ideal candidates will have exposure to some or all of the following knowledge / experience:
- Software development, design and analysis skills
- Knowledge of relational databases, such as MySQL and/or MSSQL.
- Practical experience of PHP libraries
- Some software development experience ideally in PHP or related scripting languages. The ideal candidate will have a strong practical understanding of the PHP language, especially security considerations, caching methodology and PHP OO models.
- Some practical knowledge of Angular and / or java script including AJAX (ExtJS) is an advantage.
- Practical experience in open source or commercial workflow engines
- Practical experience in user interface design and business process/workflow design and testing
