The purpose of our Content Operations and Strategy (COS) team is to create and maintain high quality, user-centered content consumed by our Selling Partners as well as Support Associates. We go beyond delivering content by developing and maintaining content products that are sincere, concise, and useful for our customers. This team is looking for a strong content developer with experience in content management, content strategy, and new ways to deliver content to global users to improve the customer experience.
The successful candidate will follow our style guides to create clear and concise information to help Amazon Selling Partners succeed within the Compliance and Account Health vertical. You will collaborate with fellow writers and internal business partners (such as program managers, UI designers, and software development engineers) to develop strategy and content. You will participate in content management efforts, process development, and quality governance in support of team success, while also working independently on multiple projects. You will also be expected to collaborate with global stakeholders to drive content-related projects end to end.
Key job responsibilities
- You will work with various teams to curate content in the Compliance/Account Health vertical for our Selling Partners and support associates.
- You will author and deliver high-quality customer support documentation about complex technical and business subjects.
- You will influence content development and ensure content quality while working closely with partner teams, keeping the Selling Partner and stakeholder experience in mind.
- You will work with other writers to improve how we write, and evolve how we approach technical documentation as a team.
- You will manage deadlines and stakeholder engagement effectively amongst stakeholder groups through clear/concise verbal and written communication.
- You will drive innovation and growth within your role and also within the COS team.
- You will develop key stakeholder relationships, listen to their feedback, identify key areas of content improvement as an SME within the vertical.
- You will demonstrate the ability to be self-directed and effective working independently, yet equally comfortable contributing in a global team environment.
Basic Qualifications
- Extensive experience working as an editor, technical writer, or content developer.
- Excellent, structured written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proofreading skills and experience creating and maintaining style guides.
- DITA and CMS proficiency.
- Experience with XML content; familiar with content authoring tools.
- Experience with translation processes and tools.
- Experience managing content projects independently, including coordinating with other teams.
- Ability to work cross-culturally with different stakeholders across the globe.
- Comfortable working in agile environments with shifting priorities.
- Experience collaborating with design, UX, and product teams.
- Degree or certification in a relevant Technical Writing field, English, Communications, or equivalent experience.

+ 10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or GTM Strategy within high-growth technology environments and a background in strategy consulting from a top tier consultant
+ Strong leadership background, including a proven track record of building Sales Operational capabilities in complex, matrixed organizations.
+ Proven ability to build capabilities and lead through influence-navigating indirect stakeholder environments with confidence and clarity.
+ Deep experience and understanding of sales cycles in both B2B and B2C channels. Forecasting, sales planning, and business performance management in a publicly traded company.
+ Proven ability to read and challenge numbers, influence senior sales directors and cross-functional leaders.
+ Hands-on knowledge of enterprise B2B sales motions (preferably hardware + SaaS) is a must. This will be a priority area in the role.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in English Literature or Technical Writing, or related field
- Extensive experience as a technical writer, editor, or content strategist, with the ability to use both data-driven and user-centric approaches
- Strong editorial background with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing content projects of varying complexity, content review and localization
- Sound experience with a markup language such as HTML or XML
- Ability to solve problems and work in ambiguous environments
- Working knowledge of Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA)
Preferred Qualifications

**Responsibilities:**
+ Responsible for the end-to-end buildout, delivery and management of the CEP Strategic Plan across multiple business lines, CEP's Branches, functional areas and its principal subsidiary.
+ The development of the CEP Strategic and Operating Plan is a regulatory requirement and the candidate will be responsible for managing interdependencies, ensuring consistency and delivering a coherent and cohesive Strategy, including development of ongoing monitoring of same.
+ The candidate will be expected to work across all of CEP's business and functional lines and assess the wider strategic book of work activities including our CEP digitalisation strategy.
+ Management of the end-to-end governance of execution and delivery of the plan including implementation of robust procedures and effective risk and control management.
+ Work as part of the wider Strategic Planning and Governance team and assess appropriate governance pathways and ongoing governance activities across the entity.
+ Ability to synthesize a wide set of information into executive ready views for senior executives including Executive Management meetings, Board of Director updates, Strategy documents.
+ Provide key management updates and analysis for a board range of book of work activities.
+ Follow emerging industry trends and potential disrupters to segments and strategic risk.
+ Deliver specific ad-hoc analysis and tactical support in preparation for business and management meetings.
+ Demonstrate a significant grasp of the organization, the business, and the markets to deliver crisp and succinct executive-level responses.
+ Grasp key priorities and complex issues quickly for the larger organization and create clear written presentations/communications.
+ Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.
+ Analyse data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
