What we're looking for:
Arra Veterinary Clinic is looking for a caring and motivated Pet Groomer & Animal Care Assistant to join our friendly team. This is a dual role, offering the opportunity to provide professional grooming services while also supporting the day-to-day care of our patients.
Responsibilities include:
- Grooming dogs and cats (washing, drying, clipping, nail trimming, ear cleaning, coat maintenance)
- Handling pets with patience and compassion to ensure a stress-free experience
- Assisting vets and nurses with patient handling during consultations and treatments
- Feeding, exercising, and monitoring in-patients
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for animals and clients
- Supporting client care at reception when required
What we are looking for:
- Experience in pet grooming (qualification an advantage but not essential)
- Previous experience in animal care or within a veterinary setting is desirable
- Compassionate, confident in handling animals, and a strong team player
- Organised, reliable, and willing to learn new skills

The successful candidate for this position will be available for an immediate start, be willing to work weekends, have good communication skills, a passion for animal care and the ability to work well as part of a team.
