Mechanical Plant Engineer
to join our dynamic and innovative OTS team, working on a client site. The Mechanical Plant Engineer will lead the support of all technical services for the client, including clean and black utilities upgrades and remediation projects. The role is responsible for problem solving and support of the control centre for a busy pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. This role will require communication at senior leadership level.

Responsibilities
- Ensure all maintenance, preventive and unplanned of assigned equipment/systems is completed on schedule, within budget, in safe and satisfactory manner and all documentation completed
- Assist in reviewing level of spare parts with respect to requirement/frequency of change outs
- Task management of schedules and resources assigned, monitor progress and quality of assigned tasks
- Maintain awareness of and compliance with cGMP
- Equipment owner, ensuring spare parts are available and assigned to the correct equipment on SAP
- Manage budget and procurement of day-to-day mechanical and equipment purchases
- Plan improvement and upgrade projects to improve overall reliability and safety
- Liaise with Planner and prioritise work flow
- Organising plant engineering support for CIP meeting outcomes
- Managing maintenance contractors, technically support them in their work and coordinate work tasks/permits to the correct area owners
- Participate in root cause analysis, deviations and resolution teams
- Carry out Risk Assessments, BBS and BBQ's documenting any potential hazards within the plant and reporting non-conformances and deviations promptly to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical or Marine and Plant Engineering (Engineers with a primary degree in Chemical/Process Engineering and relevant process experience may also be considered)
- 5 -10 years engineering and project experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical sectors
- Self-starter, experience in leading a design team and in coordinating the efforts of others
- Good communication skills (ability to lead Technical and Safety reviews)
- Chartered status desirable

We're seeking a skilled Validation Engineer to join a leading global biopharmaceutical company. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that systems, equipment, and processes meet regulatory standards and operate reliably throughout their lifecycle. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to support validation activities in a GMP-compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
The following activities will be included as part of your role:
- Executing FAT/SAT/IOQ protocols including generation of protocols and reports.
- Designing, executing and reporting on validation studies for equipment, systems and processes.
- Ensuring validation studies are managed in conjunction with all required Sanofi standards and legal requirements (Health & Safety, cGMP, construction, environmental etc.)
- Providing technical interpretation and guidance of current US FDA and EU validation requirements for aseptic processing, lyophilisation, sterilisation and depyrogenation
- Ensuring that the validation status of equipment and systems are in compliance with cGMP at all times
- Maintaining validation documentation through the validation lifecycle
- Participation in external regulatory inspections
- Support Site Change Control process
Education, Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Science (Chemistry, Micro. or Pharmacy preferred) or Engineering Chemical/Mech/Elec)
- 3-5 years' experience working in a Healthcare manufacturing environment – ideally part of which would be in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Capable of troubleshooting validation issues associated with projects, process development etc.
- Competent technical knowledge of pharmaceutical plants.
- Previous validation/product development experience would be highly advantageous for the role.
- Knowledge of Process Validation regulations, current process validation and technical transfer industry practices, and experience of interpretation and application of guidelines and regulations.
- Knowledge of requirements for of GAMP, ISPE Baseline guides.
- Knowledge of steam and dry heat validation publications such as AAMI/ANSI, PDA and ISO guidelines.
- Full understanding of relevant quality and compliance regulations
- Able to execute projects to plan.
- Good knowledge of quality management systems.
- Good communication skills at organisation, team and individual levels.
- Ability to use MS Project and SPC packages an advantage

Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in structured cabling, inside plant (ISP) infrastructure, or data center environments.
- Knowledge of fiber optic, copper (Cat 5e/6/6A) cabling installation standards or structured cabling systems
- Familiarity with NEMA VE1/VE2 and IEC 61537 for cable tray construction and installation.
Preferred Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of ANSI/TIA-568, 569, 606, 607, ISO/IEC 11801, and NEC Articles 300 & 392 (or related local electrical codes)
- Experience conducting QA inspections in live data center environments with a focus on pathway fill ratios, cable diameter compliance, separation requirements, and firestop/fire rating compliance
- Hands-on knowledge of fiber splicing, fiber testing equipment (OTDR/OLTS), budget-loss, and copper certification testing
- Working knowledge of cable pathway infrastructure
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders
