We are interested in a **Principal Project Engineer** to lead innovative projects, drive cross-functional collaboration, and shape the future of our technical capabilities.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Lead and execute medium-scale, cross-disciplinary engineering projects with custom, risk-managed plans.
+ Translate customer, business, and technical needs into actionable project scopes and strategies.
+ Conduct feasibility studies and economic analyses to guide decision-making and optimize life cycle costs.
+ Benchmark internally and externally to inform strategic planning and continuous improvement.
+ Design and analyze experiments using diverse data sources to address strategic questions.
+ Develop and implement complete solutions that integrate regulatory, operational, and cost considerations.
+ Ensure quality and effectiveness of key engineering processes through sound design and risk mitigation.
+ Evaluate the impact of design changes and proactively manage potential failure modes.
+ Apply proven methodologies to enhance engineering processes and outcomes.
+ Serve as a technical liaison for internal teams and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.
+ Communicate effectively across various media and organizational levels.
+ Foster collaborative, respectful relationships with colleagues, vendors, and partners.
+ Uphold all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Energy (EHS&E) standards and engineering governance policies.
**Education and Experience:**
+ A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a closely related field is preferred. Equivalent technical experience with demonstrated competence will also be considered.
+ A post-graduate degree is desirable and may contribute toward the required experience.
+ A minimum of 6 years of significant engineering and/or operational experience.
+ Proven track record of technical contributions and accomplishments in product or process development.
+ Strong technical knowledge and application of engineering principles and practices.
+ Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams.
+ Recognized as a subject matter expert in a relevant technical discipline.
+ Background in healthcare, nutritional products, diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or similar industries is advantageous.
+ Demonstrated financial acumen and experience with fiscal control systems.
+ Demonstrated a sound knowledge of injection moulding, tool design, validation activities for medical device components
+ Demonstrated a clear strategy for performance improvements at suppliers for production output, improve quality, support CAPA activities and monitored for effectiveness.

As a Project Management Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting a range of new product development activities on large, moderately complex projects. You will work independently to implement strategic goals and establish operational plans, and coordinate with Project Management, R&D, Quality, Operations, Regulatory, and other functions to deliver products to our customers.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
+ Be a recognized expert in your role, manage large projects or processes. Provides guidance, coaching and training to other employees within the job area.
+ Support PMO specific initiatives within CAS and collaborate across other OUs on specific activities (e.g. Peer reviews, training or review/update of harmonized procedures).
+ Communicate organizational capacity constraints, program risks, issues and decisions to core team leader, cross functional core team members and key stakeholders.
+ Develops and executes project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resources.
+ Ensures adherence to design control requirements.
+ Defines and negotiates project resource requirements.
+ Manages project budgets and oversees capital expenditures.
+ Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
+ Develops risk mitigation plans.
+ Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress.
+ Travels up to 10% of the time.
**Key Skills & Experience**
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
+ Requires a Level 8 Degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
**Nice to Have**
+ Experience with ablation products and therapies (e.g., catheters, generators)
+ Strong understanding of medical device regulations (e.g., IEC 60601, IEC 62304, ISO 14971, ISO 13485)
+ Experience with Microsoft Project and ProChain scheduling methodologies
+ Skilled in organizing work for unstructured problems or execution tasks
+ Broad engineering knowledge across product development functions
+ Ability to effectively interface and communicate with employees at all organizational levels
+ Strength in working with cross-functional teams across facilities to solve problems
+ Ability to work independently and take the initiative on tasks
+ Exceptional influencing and interpersonal skills, negotiating, managing change, resolving conflict
+ Master's degree in Engineering and/or scientific discipline, or MBA
+ PMP certification
+ Lean/Six Sigma certification

As an **Associate Director, Safety Project Leadership and Strategic Solutions** , you will provide strategic leadership at customer account level for multiple large projects, as assigned by senior management team. Act as Sponsor's primary point of contact throughout project duration for local and globally scoped deliverables (programs) with single/multiple Lifecycle Safety functions. Collaborate with global management team to develop and implement strategic initiatives and ensure global consistency.
**Main Responsibilities**
+ Manage the delivery of lifecycle safety from trial initiation to closeout, ensuring quality deliverables are presented on time and within budget.
+ Coordinate work streams and efforts of cross-functional project teams while monitoring the use of consistent tools and methodologies.
+ Identify and evaluate potential project risks and develop mitigation plans.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact with the project sponsor.
+ Collaborate with the global management team to develop and implement strategic initiatives and ensure global consistency.
+ Work with Sales and Proposals to ensure rapid, seamless, tailored responses to opportunities and drive business growth by improving customer loyalty through enhanced customer relations, service delivery excellence, and excellent customer communication.
+ Manage scope and budget review and finalization with sponsors, ensuring program financial targets are met.
+ Accountable for oversight of Lifecycle Safety performance for projects/programs on assigned accounts, including customer interface and communications, customer deliverables, realization/profitability, service integration, and technical solutions.
+ Prepare, present, and respond in bid defense meetings and discussions, and input into more complex requests for information (RFIs) or requests for proposal (RFPs).
+ Liaise with Business Development to provide timely inputs regarding the feasibility of new proposals going out to clients.
+ Contribute at IQVIA internal cross-functional project team meetings, interfacing with other functional leads, customer project status meetings, and oversight group meetings.
**Minimum Required Education and Experience**
- Bachelor's Degree Health science or other directly related field.
- 8 years' Clinical Research experience in a Contract Research Organization or Pharmaceutical company combining 5 years of Lifecycle Safety experience (Pharmacovigilance, CEVA, Medical Information, Safety Publishing, Risk Management, etc) or equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
- In depth knowledge and understanding of Lifecycle Safety service lines.
**Skills and Abilities**

- Strong project management; strategic planning; delegation and organisational skills.
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects and manage competing priorities.
