We are interested in a **Principal Project Engineer** to lead innovative projects, drive cross-functional collaboration, and shape the future of our technical capabilities.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Lead and execute medium-scale, cross-disciplinary engineering projects with custom, risk-managed plans.
+ Translate customer, business, and technical needs into actionable project scopes and strategies.
+ Conduct feasibility studies and economic analyses to guide decision-making and optimize life cycle costs.
+ Benchmark internally and externally to inform strategic planning and continuous improvement.
+ Design and analyze experiments using diverse data sources to address strategic questions.
+ Develop and implement complete solutions that integrate regulatory, operational, and cost considerations.
+ Ensure quality and effectiveness of key engineering processes through sound design and risk mitigation.
+ Evaluate the impact of design changes and proactively manage potential failure modes.
+ Apply proven methodologies to enhance engineering processes and outcomes.
+ Serve as a technical liaison for internal teams and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.
+ Communicate effectively across various media and organizational levels.
+ Foster collaborative, respectful relationships with colleagues, vendors, and partners.
+ Uphold all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Energy (EHS&E) standards and engineering governance policies.
**Education and Experience:**
+ A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a closely related field is preferred. Equivalent technical experience with demonstrated competence will also be considered.
+ A post-graduate degree is desirable and may contribute toward the required experience.
+ A minimum of 6 years of significant engineering and/or operational experience.
+ Proven track record of technical contributions and accomplishments in product or process development.
+ Strong technical knowledge and application of engineering principles and practices.
+ Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams.
+ Recognized as a subject matter expert in a relevant technical discipline.
+ Background in healthcare, nutritional products, diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or similar industries is advantageous.
+ Demonstrated financial acumen and experience with fiscal control systems.
+ Demonstrated a sound knowledge of injection moulding, tool design, validation activities for medical device components
+ Demonstrated a clear strategy for performance improvements at suppliers for production output, improve quality, support CAPA activities and monitored for effectiveness.

Purpose of the Role The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the development and evaluation of a research programme to examine the needs for a psychology service for children with neuro-muscular conditions at CHI (examples of conditions include Duchenne muscular dystrophy, Becker Muscular dystrophy, Spinal muscular atrophy among others). This will involve the delivery of high quality patient and family-centred psychological assessment and therapeutic services in a paediatric specialty and to fully and competently discharge the duties of the post. The post-holder will work closely with the core research team including Principal Investigator (PI) Professor Denise Mc Donald, PhD research student employed for this project, the senior and staff grade psychologists working on the project. The project will run for three years and is funded to develop, implement and evaluate paediatric psychology care for children and young people with neuromuscular conditions and their families attending CHI Tertiary clinics. Essential Criteria: Candidates must: have a recognised honours degree in psychology have a recognised postgraduate professional qualification in Psychology recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland - such as clinical, counselling or educational psychology. have a minimum of eight years postgraduate professional experience in psychology (inclusive of time spent in training), at least three of which are at senior grade have relevant training and experience in psychological assessment and intervention skills for patients with a wide range of psychological difficulties inclusive of developmental/neurodisability presentations and or physical impairment. demonstrate competence in clinical audit, research and supervision skills possess the requisite knowledge and ability (to include a high standard of suitability and management ability) for proper discharge of the duties of the post Candidates who have completed their postgraduate training outside of Ireland must ensure that their qualification is validated by the Department of Health and Children How to Apply & Informal Enquiries Applications for this post must be accompanied by a cover letter, setting out relevant experience that illustrates how the essential criteria listed above is met. Senior Project Manager (Planning & Environmental) Newbridge (Open to public competition) BnM is hiring a Senior Project Manager on a specified purpose maternity cover contract. This role will be responsible for leading the delivery of Planning and Environmental Impact Assessment Report/Appropriate Assessment applications/assessments for specific BnM infrastructure projects, manage baseline environmental and constraints assessments and other BnM projects where required. The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include the following: Lead and project manage the planning process including planning design for specific Renewable energy project(s) up to the point of consenting decision and any subsequent challenges to same. Lead and project manage specific baseline assessment studies carried out as part of the project selection process. Develop and inform Environmental Compliance issues by keeping abreast of planning outcomes, changes in legislation, policy decisions and national and local authority development plans to maximise the potential opportunities and outcomes for the company. Track and identify, prepare/liaise/contribute and/or submit relevant submissions or comments on policy documents as they arise, such as national strategies, regional planning guidelines, county development plans, renewable energy strategies, planning applications and planning guidelines that could impact on BnM's project development pipeline as appropriate. Lead the implementation of protocols for effective engagement with key stakeholders, including all relevant statutory and non-statutory consultees relevant to the planning processes of specific BnM's projects. Develop in conjunction with the Key Stakeholder Executive effective project plans to ensure appropriate management of communications and consultation with local communities and other relevant stakeholders around proposed BnM's development sites. Provide environmental, planning and project management expertise in relation to the delivery of Renewables Energy projects. Review the significance of developing planning/environmental related legislation and relevant planning/Judicial decisions and advise Powergen management on same; Prepare and/or check scopes for third party services for projects and fully participate in the various stages of associated procurement processes. Ensure that the procurement of third party services for projects under the planning and environmental remit are carried out in compliance with company procurement guidelines, and monitor and evaluate the performance of principle consultants with respect to their use on future projects. All employees are expected to co-operate fully with all provisions taken by the company for ensuring Health and Safety, and Welfare of co-employees and members of the public using the premises and understand and apply all Health & Safety legislation and regulatory requirements as a fundamental element of any design undertaken ensuring safety of employee's and members of the public during construction, testing and commissioning; Proactively participate in the Performance Management process to ensure delivery of own, and the wider team's, objectives. The Person: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification, skills, knowledge and attributes: 5 -7 years experience in project managing/working on planning applications and preparation of EIAR/AA for large scale projects. Hons Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or equivalent. Post Graduate (Lvl 9 FETAC) qualification in a relevant discipline, (e.g. Environmental Science, Engineering, Planning Law) desirable but not essential. Project management across a range of projects with differing priorities, risk profiles and timelines. Proven track record of delivering complex projects through the Irish planning system. Specific expertise in the delivery of EIS/EIAR/AA/NIS documentation for large scale development projects. Significant technical expertise in the areas of infrastructure planning process and environmental assessment and licencing.In depth knowledge of relevant legislation and policy in these areas. Strong report writing, analytical, and presentation skills. Deep understanding of EIA, NIS, Appropriate Assessment, and Planning Acts. **Lifecycle Safety Project Management team** manages the delivery of lifecycle safety from trial initiation to closeout. Ensures quality deliverables are presented on time and within budget; coordinates work streams and efforts of cross-functional project teams while monitoring the use of consistent tools and methodologies; identifies and evaluates potential project risks and develops mitigation plans; and serves as the primary point of contact with the project sponsor.
As an **Associate Director, Safety Project Leadership and Strategic Solutions** , you will provide strategic leadership at customer account level for multiple large projects, as assigned by senior management team. Act as Sponsor's primary point of contact throughout project duration for local and globally scoped deliverables (programs) with single/multiple Lifecycle Safety functions. Collaborate with global management team to develop and implement strategic initiatives and ensure global consistency.
**Main Responsibilities**
+ Manage the delivery of lifecycle safety from trial initiation to closeout, ensuring quality deliverables are presented on time and within budget.
+ Coordinate work streams and efforts of cross-functional project teams while monitoring the use of consistent tools and methodologies.
+ Identify and evaluate potential project risks and develop mitigation plans.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact with the project sponsor.
+ Collaborate with the global management team to develop and implement strategic initiatives and ensure global consistency.
+ Work with Sales and Proposals to ensure rapid, seamless, tailored responses to opportunities and drive business growth by improving customer loyalty through enhanced customer relations, service delivery excellence, and excellent customer communication.
+ Manage scope and budget review and finalization with sponsors, ensuring program financial targets are met.
+ Accountable for oversight of Lifecycle Safety performance for projects/programs on assigned accounts, including customer interface and communications, customer deliverables, realization/profitability, service integration, and technical solutions.
+ Prepare, present, and respond in bid defense meetings and discussions, and input into more complex requests for information (RFIs) or requests for proposal (RFPs).
+ Liaise with Business Development to provide timely inputs regarding the feasibility of new proposals going out to clients.
+ Contribute at IQVIA internal cross-functional project team meetings, interfacing with other functional leads, customer project status meetings, and oversight group meetings.
**Minimum Required Education and Experience**
- Bachelor's Degree Health science or other directly related field.
- 8 years' Clinical Research experience in a Contract Research Organization or Pharmaceutical company combining 5 years of Lifecycle Safety experience (Pharmacovigilance, CEVA, Medical Information, Safety Publishing, Risk Management, etc) or equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
- In depth knowledge and understanding of Lifecycle Safety service lines.
