To be successful and to enjoy the challenge of this position, the role will suit an experienced Civil Engineer with design experience who has previously lead large scale projects in the Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences and Mission Critical sectors (TIC €100 MM) from concept to completion.

Responsibilities You will be located in the Cork office on a Hybrid working basis.

The role involves the following: Responsibilities Lead the detailed civil engineering design of pavements, underground drainage and utilities, and earthworks for site development works on large industrial projects.

Proactively coordinate with project managers, design disciplines, construction management team, contractors and Clients.

Manage the timely delivery of the civil engineering design to an excellent standard.

Carry out periodic inspections of the works on site for quality and BCAR purposes.

Contribute to the continuous development of the civil engineering department.

Chartered with Engineers Ireland or similar body Minimum 10 years' experience with at least 5 years' experience in the detailed design of large industrial projects in the pharmaceutical, data centre or oil & gas sectors.

This includes the design of process drainage and the coordination of complex underground utilities.

Proficient with the use of Auto CAD, Civil 3 D, Micro Drainage and Auto TRACK.

Additional experience in the use of Revit would be an advantage.

Effective communicator with excellent oral and report writing skills Ability to adapt to changing scenarios Confident in creating and delivering engineering presentations to Clients Thorough understanding of civil engineering design standards Experienced in the inspection of civil engineering works on site and the completion of BCAR reports.

Role: Project Manager Sector: Civil/Utilities Location: Dublin Talent Curve are recruiting for a Project Manager, to manage utility and civil projects in the Dublin and greater Dublin area. The successful candidate will join a client that has over 40 years of knowledge and experience in the industry and has experience growth each year. The client is seeking an experienced Project Manager who has a civils background and particular knowledge of utility projects. Project Manager Responsibilities: Report into the Contracts Manager Develop the project programme - establishing sequence and timing of operations necessary for the completion of the work and ensure all necessary resources are in place Oversee structural activity and keep it in line with company procedures. Ensure all relevant information is collated, reviewed and actioned at regular contract review meetings. Attend client/consultant meetings, prepare and respond to the requirements of the meeting to ensure Manage Site Engineers, Foremen, Site Managers etc Manage sub-contractors, labourers and onsite teams Ensure the site adheres to quality standards and health & safety procedures Conduct Site Meetings when appropriate Attend Senior Management meetings discussing site progress Project Manager Specification: Civil Engineer or Construction Management Degree 5 years plus experience in a similar role Ability to work independently and drive the site team forward Confident in using Microsoft Word, Excel etc Heavy experience in civil and utility projects Excellent communicator Highly organised and motivated Full driving licence For more information on the role, contact Lauren at Talent Curve Recruitment Email: Phone: Skills: Project Management Utility Water
