**Job Overview:**
KDP Ireland is seeking an ambitious Manager to join its Global Procurement team and lead the strategic sourcing activities for selected packaging materials. The Manager will lead all aspects of supplier lifecycle management to cultivate value for the business in the form of cost reduction, risk mitigation, sustainability solutions, growth & innovation, enhanced quality, and improved service delivery. Additionally, the Manager will collaborate with team members, cross-functional partners and external suppliers to build robust category strategies that deliver business unit objectives.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Be Procurement's subject matter expert for selected direct material components

Experience
+ Experience in the infrastructure sector, with a strong track record of delivering advisory services to key infrastructure clients in Ireland / Northern Ireland.
+ Demonstrable experience leading complex programmes and projects at scale and pace within a consultancy, the Public Sector or Private delivery organisation.
+ Significant post-qualification experience of procurement for complex construction and infrastructure projects or programmes of work, with sector experience in infrastructure, specifically Energy, Defence, Transportation and Water.
+ Leadership experience in the provision of strategic advice to key clients through the process of designing the optimum delivery model, contract strategy, commercial model and route to market for their project.

The Director, Global Procurement will be accountable for leading, defining, and implementing Global Facilities, Capital and Logistics Category strategies to serve global and regional business needs. This individual will work closely with stakeholders to lead discussions related to the Global Facilities, Capital and Logistics Categories and align category priorities with Procurement management and stakeholders. This role reports to the Vice President, Global Procurement and works closely with the Raheen site leaders to ensure priorities are addressed efficiently and effectively. A typical day might include, but is not limited to, the following : Leading negotiations, supplier management activities, and stakeholder engagement activities for the Global Facilities, Capital and Logistics Category as assigned Working independently to drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from category management activities Representing Global Procurement by participating in organizational decisions in the Global Facilities, Capital and Logistics categories with critical short and long-term impact on the success, efficiency, growth, and results of the organization and company Leading category activities to ensure compliance with appropriate GxPs and other applicable regulations Negotiating contract terms and conditions in consultation with Law department aligned with Regeneron's priorities and business requirements Managing a team of professional level employees responsible for performing category management tasks Providing coaching and guidance on job performance and career development to direct reports and providing leadership examples for the organization This role may be for you if you have: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study plus 12+ years experience in procurement, preferably including substantial experience in Pharma/BioPharma Knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry to support the growth and evolution of the Global Procurement organization and leverages this knowledge to drive improvements within Regeneron, aligned with corporate priorities Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams to drive results in Global Facilities, Capital and Logistics categories or related categories through effective sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management Experience working in a matrixed global organization while driving local priorities within a global framework Experience leading manager level professionals in a multi-national firm including writing performance reviews, setting annual objectives, coaching, and developing direct reports Working knowledge with sourcing contracting tools, ERP's, and eRFx systems preferred (Oracle, Zycus, Ariba, Other.) #JOBSIEST Does this sound like you? Maintain accurate records of supplier details, contracts and framework agreements. Support transformation initiatives, including audits, reporting and process improvements. Develop and manage the ESG strategy for the account, promoting sustainable procurement practices. Provide transition support for new account activities as needed. Monitor and report on KPIs, sourcing activity and supplier performance metrics.
