Position Overview:
StepStone Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Vendor Management team as an Analyst. The Analyst will support the end-to-end oversight of third-party vendors to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. This role involves risk assessment, due diligence, performance monitoring, and the ongoing evaluation of vendors. This includes reviewing Vendors across a range of categories, including technology providers, fund administrators, banks, law firms, consultants, professional service firms etc. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. A high level of attention to detail, a proactive and self-starting attitude and a commitment to meeting deadlines are essential for success in this role.
Essential Job Functions – Vendor Management Analyst:
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct initial and ongoing due diligence on third-party vendors, including analysis of financial stability, regulatory compliance, information security, and operational risk.
- Coordinate vendor onboarding, ensuring proper documentation and approvals are in place.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Information Security, Business Units) to support vendor selection, risk reviews, and issue resolution.
- Support audit and regulatory requests by providing relevant vendor documentation and reporting.
- Stay informed of regulatory changes and industry trends related to third-party risk management.
- Conduct adverse media checks across all vendors.
- Assistance with DDQ template and updating reporting template as part of annual review and maintenance.
- Assistance with ad-hoc projects.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field (required).
- 1–3 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, risk management, compliance, audit or a related function (preferred).
- Experience in financial services or a regulated industry is an advantage.

About The Position
We are seeking a
Vendor Management Associate
to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of G-P's relationships, processes, reporting and issue resolution for In Country Providers ("ICPs").
Reporting to the Senior Manager-Provider Management, this role will be paramount to customer and professional satisfaction and therefore requires working closely with internal stakeholders across various departments

Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key vendors.
- Assist in pricing discussions by gathering and compiling data to support Snr Mgr in securing favorable terms.
- Support the monitoring of vendor performance by collecting data and helping to prepare reports on key metrics and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Help prepare and organize regular feedback for vendors, supporting senior team members in collaborative improvement plan discussions.
- Assist in the development of the vendor network by conducting research and analysis on potential new partners or consolidation opportunities, reporting findings to the Senior Manager.
- Assist in maintaining effective relationships with the key stakeholders across G-P, and ensure efficient communication of provider related updates.
- Strive to become over time a subject matter expert for ICP related matters
- Provide support on analysis, reports, presentations as required by the business including but not limited to internal facing resources, master schedules, tickets.
- Serve as a point of contact for vendor-related queries, resolving issues promptly and professionally and escalating to Snr Mgr as required.
Requirements
- Education - Degree in Business. Management, Finance or relevant experience
- 5+ years of proven experience in vendor management or a similar role focused on building relationships
- Experience working across multiple regions and cultures is advantageous
- Strong financial acumen, negotiation, analytical and conflict resolution skills.
- Highly motivated, with exceptional organizational, communication and presentation skills
- Meticulous and quick learner with a "can do" attitude
- A positive and solutions focused mindset is necessary for this position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Jira - Kanban, WorkDay

Overview of role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Contract/Vendor Management Specialist to oversee contract negotiations, compliance, stakeholder and supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will ensure that vendor agreements align with company objectives, mitigate risks, and optimise procurement strategies.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with colleagues to understand business requirements and assess potential suppliers
- Guide colleagues through an end-to-end procurement process to enable efficient engagement with relevant stakeholders
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies.
- Maintain a contract database, tracking key milestones, renewals, and expirations.
- Develop and implement vendor management processes to evaluate supplier performance.
- Establish strong relationships with vendors to ensure service quality and cost efficiency.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and industry trends.
- Provide regular reports on vendor performance, contract status, and procurement activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in contract management, vendor relations, or procurement.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in vendor management.
There will be no line management responsibilities with this position
.
Working pattern: 39 per week delivered during the normal working day.Occasional travel to other sites may be required.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IT Contract and Vendor Management Specialist to support the operational and commercial management of IT suppliers, with a strong emphasis on strategic and outsourcing service arrangements. This role is critical to ensuring that vendor engagements deliver maximum value while aligning with business objectives, compliance requirements, and technology standards.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT procurement processes and vendor lifecycle management, including experience managing offshore or outsourced service contracts.
What you'll be Doing
Procurement & Sourcing Support
- Assist in the end-to-end IT sourcing process including RFI/RFP preparation, vendor evaluation, selection, negotiation and contract award.
- Support category planning and sourcing strategies in collaboration with IT and Procurement teams.
- Conduct market research to identify IT Products and suppliers.
- Ensure alignment of sourcing activities with internal policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Support the management of vendor relationships, focusing on both strategic and operational suppliers, including offshore and outsourced service providers.
- Maintain and monitor a central repository of IT contracts, licensing agreements, and renewals.
- Track vendor performance against contractual obligations, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Support contract renewals, amendments, negotiations and compliance reviews in collaboration with Legal and Procurement.
Strategic Partners & Outsourcing Coordination
- Work with delivery partners, ensuring compliance with service expectations and contract terms.
- Support the management of outsourced service agreements, including follow-up on deliverables, service credits, and performance escalations.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of suppliers, ensuring alignment with IT service management processes.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Assist in the development and management of supplier scorecards, dashboards, and performance reports.
- Support periodic performance reviews and governance meetings with global suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Track and analyse vendor issues and escalations, and support problem resolution with minimal disruption to services.
Financial & Compliance Oversight
- Monitor vendor billing and invoicing against contract terms and budget allocations.
- Identify and support cost optimisation initiatives in supplier engagements.
- Ensure contract compliance and support internal and external audits of supplier-related activities.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of experience in IT Procurement, Vendor Management, or IT Contract Administration.
- Demonstrated experience working with global suppliers and outsourced service agreements, including offshore delivery models.
- Strong understanding of the IT procurement lifecycle, vendor governance, and contract management best practices.
- Familiarity with key IT categories such as infrastructure, software licensing, cloud services, and professional services.
- Experience supporting or running RFP/RFI processes and managing supplier documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement or contract management tools.
Nice to have
- Experience in the FMCG, retail, and or technology sectors.
- Knowledge of ITIL, SLA frameworks, and service delivery governance.
- Procurement or contract management qualification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, IIPMM).
- Strong Project Management skills
