**Overview:**
**Type:** Fixed-Term - 9 month contract
**Location** : Newbridge, Ireland
**Work Schedule** : Hybrid
**Reporting To:** Snr Manager, Procurement Operations
**Purpose**
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving Procurement strategies & capabilities and leading governance best practices and controls for Procurement policies, systems, and processes. Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing end-to-end integrated solutions including Procurement contract management and enabling through data and contracts; the successful rollout of Ariba Supply chain collaboration.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Work with the offshore team and/or internal team to ensure Purchasing contract management (PCM) requests are being executed within the relevant SLA, identify other KPIs that should be used to drive operational efficiencies
+ Ensure adherence to SLAs with both internal and external teams
+ Identify & manage the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the purchasing contract management process
+ Establish operating policies and procedures for Procurement
+ Manage a documentation library of standard operating procedures. Identify gaps in documentation, creating missing documents, as needed.
+ Build strategic partnerships with key functions and stakeholders
+ Collaborate with IT, AP, Suppliers, Quality and Manufacturing to identify root causes and implement solutions for all issues, including those related to SAP IDOC errors, Ariba SCC transactions, and supplier claims.
+ Be subject matter expert for procurement master data and systems, including SAP, ServiceNow, Stibo, PowerBI
+ Represent the Procurement Operations function with the Business Units to partner with supply chain, sourcing on IBP and Supplier Forecast accuracy initiatives
+ Procurement scorecard: Identify KPI and performance management.
+ Create onboarding material for new joiners to include SOPs, FAQs etc.
+ Provide training to planners, sourcing team and other users where relevant
+ Identify new ways of working and changes to team structure that would benefit team productivity
+ Ensure compliance with all corporate policies, internal controls, business procedures as well as supplier and intercompany transactions
**Responsibilities:**
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited university
+ Strong analytical skills
+ Ability to navigate and thrive in a multinational and matrix environment
+ Experience and proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive changes, issue resolution, and improvements
+ Ability to define opportunities, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and implement solutions
+ Strong communication skills with internal stakeholders, external customers, and suppliers
+ Highly organized, great attention to detail, thorough, and critical thinking skills
+ Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload and work successfully in a fast-paced environment
+ Proficient in MS Office suite and experience working with ERP systems, SAP preferred.

+ Manage the long-term Procurement strategy driven by business needs and incorporating modern technology, services, and tools to report performance and increase efficiency within Procurement and the Sourcing process.
+ Deploy the Procurement's Technology Roadmap, collaborating with key stakeholders including IT, Procurement Leadership, and other key internal and external stakeholders.
+ Lead all aspects of Procurement operations, system controls, and compliance reporting services to better support end-users, and guide the team towards maintaining a high standard of service.

The duties for the Supply Chain Project Consultant include but are not limited to: Design and implement a best-in-class Supply Chain and Stock Management process that supports both current operations and future growth. Establish governance structures and ensure clear ownership across workflows and product management. Lead change and continuous improvement initiatives that deliver operational and financial efficiency. Redesign and map complex workflows; produce clear, actionable process guides for teams. Monitor adherence to processes, resolve escalations, and implement corrective actions. Analyse performance using KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive success. Partner with internal stakeholders across the organisation to achieve shared goals and foster a culture of performance and accountability. The desired Supply Chain Project Consultant will fulfil the below requirements: Proven experience in designing and implementing complex supply chain or stock management processes, ideally in a multi-site environment. Strong project management experience and a track record of leading change. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to challenge the status quo and propose innovative, effective solutions. High attention to detail and sound judgment in decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Planning & Forecasting Analyze and forecast demand to develop accurate production and procurement plans. Create and manage production schedules based on demand forecasts and resource availability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain plans with customer requirements. Monitor market trends and adjust forecasts accordingly. Track planning, inventory, and production performance data, generating reports and insights for management. Recommend process improvements and contribute to supply chain optimization projects. Finance & Supplier Support Initiate purchase orders (POs) following internal approvals. Manage supplier backlog reporting, monitoring PO and production status weekly. Oversee invoice processing: verify against goods received notes, collaborate with Finance on authorizations, and resolve discrepancies. Support creditor ledger management and supplier credit note requests. Maintain strong supplier relationships as Finance's first point of contact for issues. Escalate extended delays to management, proposing solutions (e.g., expedited shipping). Logistics Coordination Confirm production readiness for shipment and ensure all paperwork is in place. Support freight booking by reviewing benchmark rates and recommending freight partners. Collect and analyze bulk freight quotes, advising Finance on optimal routes (rail, sea, or air). Collaborate with logistics partners to streamline shipping and delivery schedules. Sales & Customer Engagement Act as a point of contact for key customer accounts, maintaining contracts and relationships. Participate in weekly customer calls to review shortages, backlogs, and delivery commitments. Provide customers with regular backlog and delivery lead time reports. Escalate critical shortages or delays and recommend solutions (e.g., prioritizing SKUs, expediting deliveries). Identify new sales opportunities by spotting gaps in competitor supply and leveraging available stock. Provide ad hoc support to customer queries in a timely manner. Quality & Technical Support Maintain ERP master data, ensuring commercial data (prices, lead times, MOQs, packing specs) is up to date. Support accuracy of technical datasheets and product information per SKU. Place purchase orders based on technical/engineering requirements, ensuring correct versions are ordered. Track quality metrics (samples, AQL, batch tracking) to support audits and compliance. Qualifications Required for the desired candidate: Qualification in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field. Proven experience in demand planning, production scheduling, or inventory management. Proficiency in planning software and ERP systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
