Job Description
KDP Ireland is seeking an ambitious Manager to join its Global Procurement team and lead the strategic sourcing activities for selected packaging materials. The Manager will lead all aspects of supplier lifecycle management to cultivate value for the business in the form of cost reduction, risk mitigation, sustainability solutions, growth & innovation, enhanced quality, and improved service delivery. Additionally, the Manager will collaborate with team members, cross-functional partners and external suppliers to build robust category strategies that deliver business unit objectives.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Be Procurement's subject matter expert for selected direct material components
+ Leverage KDP Procurement's strategic category management framework to generate internal and external insights
+ Collaborate with key business partners to develop category strategies that meet the needs of the business units pertaining to Safety, Quality, Service, Sustainability, Cost, Innovation
+ Execute sourcing projects utilizing Ariba (e.g., RFQ/RFP/RFI, on-line Auction, Collaborative sourcing, multi-event negotiations, etc.)
+ Lead all aspects of supplier lifecycle management, including identification, selection, onboarding, contract management, performance management, risk management, and offboarding
+ Develop annual operating plans and quarterly forecasts with support from Finance
+ Develop and foster long-term relationships with strategic suppliers
+ Establish & maintain a master contract management system for all spends within scope
+ Ensure compliance to adhere to external regulations and ensure governance to adhere to internal company policies
**Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited university; Field of study in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or related area preferred
+ Minimum four years strategic Procurement experience in a complex Supply Chain organization; CPG experience preferred
+ Passion to identify opportunities and drive positive change with continuous improvement mindset
+ Consistently builds and maintains relationships

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving Procurement strategies & capabilities and leading governance best practices and controls for Procurement policies, systems, and processes. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Work with the offshore team and/or internal team to ensure Purchasing contract management (PCM) requests are being executed within the relevant SLA, identify other KPIs that should be used to drive operational efficiencies
+ Ensure adherence to SLAs with both internal and external teams
+ Identify & manage the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the purchasing contract management process
+ Establish operating policies and procedures for Procurement
+ Manage a documentation library of standard operating procedures. Identify gaps in documentation, creating missing documents, as needed.
+ Build strategic partnerships with key functions and stakeholders
+ Collaborate with IT, AP, Suppliers, Quality and Manufacturing to identify root causes and implement solutions for all issues, including those related to SAP IDOC errors, Ariba SCC transactions, and supplier claims.
+ Be subject matter expert for procurement master data and systems, including SAP, ServiceNow, Stibo, PowerBI
+ Represent the Procurement Operations function with the Business Units to partner with supply chain, sourcing on IBP and Supplier Forecast accuracy initiatives
+ Procurement scorecard: Identify KPI and performance management.
+ Create onboarding material for new joiners to include SOPs, FAQs etc.
+ Provide training to planners, sourcing team and other users where relevant
+ Identify new ways of working and changes to team structure that would benefit team productivity

+ Partner with Strategy & Capabilities Leadership Team to provide governance over KDP's Source to Pay processes, systems, and policies while joining forces with stakeholders/internal business partners to drive harmonization, compliance, and efficiencies.

**Responsibilities:**
To excel in the role of Senior Manager of Procurement Strategy and Capabilities, you will have:
+ Experience driving and implementing the tools/technology roadmap for a Procurement Organization
+ Preferred Experience in managing source to contract platform tools, such as Ariba
+ Preferred Experience in supplier lifecycle management process, risk management, contract lifecycle management
+ Preferred experience with procurement and data analytics/visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Cognos IBM)
+ Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence others to achieve outstanding results.
+ Proficiency in navigating multinational organizational matrix environment.
+ Excellent communication skills to effectively engage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
