KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Setting up of machines in accordance with Schedules and Product Specifications.
Responsible for overall running and achieving targets for the Production line.
Monitoring and accounting for downtime, productivity or quality losses.
Performing in process control checks on process performance.
Testing of finished product being produced on production floor and recording results on designated quality approved documentation.
Responsibility for coordinating the activities of team members.
Responsibility to keep work area clean and tidy at all times and application of 5 S methodology.
Adherence to Health and Safety policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years' experience operating manufacturing equipment in an industrial manufacturing setting.
Experience of working in medical device, pharmaceutical or GMP environment preferable.
PERSON SPECIFICATION AND CORE COMPETENCIES: Excellent attention to detail Proven problem solving skills Strong record of good timekeeping, attendance and punctuality Can work independently Skills: Manufacturing Equipment Operation Problem solving skills Attention to detail 5 S Methodology

This role requires experience with working with wood assembly products ie.
putting together flatpack furniture etc.
Includes the use of tools for wooden assembly such as hammers, nail guns, screwdrivers etc.
Monday to Thursday - finishing 3.30pm, Friday - Rate of Pay €14.10 per hour, overtime for first 4 hours paid at time and a half and any over time after that paid at double time Key responsibilities in this job are as follows Machine operating, maintenance and safety Assembly, cutting, housekeeping Keeping standards of quality to a high degree Improving and innovating on a regular basis Team work and timekeeping are a key part of this job

In this position, you will help ensure the efficient running of production by operating and maintaining machinery.
Machine Operator responsibilities include setting up machines to start a production cycle, controlling and adjusting machine settings, inspecting parts to specifications and adjusting, or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications.
Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of industrial machines and tools and is methodical and safety conscious.
Responsibilities Setting up machines to start the production cycle Controlling and adjusting machine settings Inspecting parts to specifications Maintaining and cleaning machines before and after each shift Performing routine machine checks and troubleshooting any issues Ensuring that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried Reading and interpreting blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures Requirements Technical skills and knowledge to operate and maintain a variety of machines, ensuring they are set up properly and functioning efficiently.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals Attention to detail to ensure precise operation of machinery, check for defects and conduct quality control tests.
Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve machine-related issues promptly and efficiently.
Physical stamina and strength as the job often requires standing for long periods and handling heavy machine parts.
Safety consciousness to comply with safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
Good communication skills to interact with team members, report to supervisors and participate in meetings effectively.
