Service Operations Manager

Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
- Work model: hybrid/remote
- Review all service activities and skillset that are required for the project and ensure that the Field Service Engineers have the appropriate training, safety certification, travel documents to complete the scope of work in a safe manner.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to schedule project support where FSE's are utilized.
- Lead and deliver responsive support co-ordination to exceed customer expectations.
- Analyze gaps with service delivery, contract execution, and customer focus.
- Supports Operations Team in improving tools and processes

Responsibilities:
- Create comprehensive construction schedules for client baseline approval and update impacted schedules as needed post-baseline.
- Guarantee precision and prompt updates to the construction schedule.
- Perform thorough schedule health assessments before baselining to ensure accuracy, integrity, and critical path verification.
- Allocate resources to schedules, generating and monitoring relevant KPIs.
- Oversee budgets to identify scope expansion or modifications.
- Monitor planned versus actual earned value (EV) progress.
- Collaborate with team members to establish systems for recording and tracking issues through appropriate change control processes.
- Participate in required site meetings, both internal and client-facing.
- Track productivity of trades/craft labour by comparing hours spent versus hours earned.
Requirements
- A relevant third level degree or Engineering qualification.
- 5+ years' experience in a similar role specifically on data center projects.
- Data centre & Pharma experience is beneficial.
- Experience with Mechanical & Electrical scope of works with excellent technical knowledge.
- Experience leading projects from a project controls perspective
- IT Skills – Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro

Experience Required
- Develop, maintain, and integrate Operational Readiness schedules across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment between engineering, commissioning, and operations milestones.
- 2–7 years' experience in planning or scheduling within engineering, construction, or pharmaceutical projects, with a focus on readiness, CQV, or start-up phases.
- Work closely with project managers and functional leads to coordinate planning inputs, validate progress, and update the master schedule.
- Use Primavera P6 (or equivalent) and Power BI to create data-driven plans, dashboards, and reports that track workstream performance and forecast delivery outcomes.
- Identify and communicate schedule risks, resource conflicts, and dependencies, collaborating with teams to propose solutions and corrective actions.
- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure scope clarity, milestone alignment, and transparent reporting across readiness activities.
- Demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills — translating technical information into clear, actionable insights for multiple stakeholders.
- Proactively monitor progress and performance, providing structured updates and metrics to governance forums and readiness leads.
- Hold a degree in Engineering, Science, or Project Controls, with proven analytical ability, adaptability, and attention to detail in fast-paced project environments.

The Cybersecurity Development Program (CsDP) is a global talent development program designed to cultivate enterprise talent in support of the security talent needs. The summer internship program offers a 10-week experience which includes hands-on security work, social responsibility, networking, learning, and social events. Interns are assigned to teams in pairs as much as possible. As a CsDP Intern, you'll gain invaluable experience in a variety of domains, as well as mentoring from technology leaders, networking across the technology organization and collaboration opportunities. The program creates a cohort structure that provides a more personalized employment experience in turn creating community and increasing engagement beyond that of a traditional hire.
Examples of Cybersecurity Development Program Positions:
- Global Cyber Defense (ethical hacking, penetration testing, etc.)
- Governance Risk Compliance (compliance, auditing, etc.)
- Security Cloud Engineering
- Information Security (All teams, e.g., security office, enterprise resilience, global acquisitions & fraud, and operations & transformation)

Required Qualifications of the Cybersecurity Development Intern:
- Currently enrolled in a university, obtaining a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college/university for a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Network Administration, Database management, Data, or other technology related fields or equivalent experience
- Foundational understanding of networking, operating systems, and information security principles
Preferred Qualifications of the Cybersecurity Development Intern:
- Exposure to security tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, Splunk, or Nessus
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK)
- Experience with scripting or programming (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their security features
- Participation in Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions, cybersecurity clubs, or personal security projects
- Interest or coursework in one or more areas: Red/Blue Teaming, IAM, Threat Intelligence, GRC, Cloud Security, Application Security, etc.

What you'll achieve
As a new Accounting Analyst, candidates will be enrolled in Dell's Accounting Development Program (ADP). This unique, full-time rotational program is designed for entry-level accounting professionals who want to jump-start their career while developing their technical acumen, accounting and operational knowledge, and soft skills. ADP provides participants with a robust set of accounting experiences through three year-long rotations within the accounting organization, a technical curriculum, soft skills trainings, projects, international conferences, networking opportunities, career mentorship and support for professional certification.
Over the course of three years, participants in the ADP will rotate through three roles on varied accounting teams. This unique opportunity to see three distinct roles over three years, and work with a variety of accounting leaders, provides our participants with a broad network and the competitive edge necessary to excel throughout their careers. Potential rotations include corporate functions, Business/segment accounting, Dell Financial Services (DFS) and Operations functions.
In addition to the yearly rotations, ADP participants take part in a structured curriculum that further expands their finance and accounting technical knowledge, as well as develops soft skills such as presentation skills, leadership and building personal brand.
You will:
Key responsibilities vary based on the specific rotation, but generally include:
- Reporting of financial results, including the reconciliation and analysis of financial transactions, as well as assets and liabilities.

Your Role
Aptiv's Finance Internship Program is a 12-week Summer internship designed to provide interns with exposure to Aptiv's business and culture. Each assignment will be embedded into the finance organization and provide interns with ownership of impactful projects.
