ICT Project Support Officer Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a suitably skilled Administrative Project Support Officer to join their team. The duration of this post is 12 months initially with possible extensions thereafter. This role will be a Flexible/Hybrid working arrangement, but the successful candidate must be available to attend client sites when required. Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €28.04 per hour based on an annualised salary of €51,206 You will accrue 30 days annual leave per year and paid Bank Holidays. Purpose of the Post The Project Support Officer role plays a critical role in facilitating project success by coordinating the setup and maintenance of projects in either Waterfall or Agile/DevOps. They will also have the responsibility for monitoring project status, reporting, and managing issue escalation. They will also coordinate and complete the CSE SAS Bi-weekly status report as well as developing new reporting dashboards in Power BI, SharePoint and Azure DevOps and metrics for SAS and specifically AMP The role: Maintain clear and consistent communication with PMs and stakeholders. Document all processes, changes, and key decisions for transparency. Stay updated on Agile and Waterfall platform updates and new features. Proactively identify potential project risks and communicate early. Prioritize tasks to support critical project needs effectively. Business Engagement through the provision of Escalation pathways for key stakeholders in relation to risk and issues and their root cause and path to green, Coordinate with IT/DevOps/CISO teams. Report on Issues and Risks as well as delivery/forecast burn-down charts for software development, technical build and project progress Provide Input to Testing Plans for new functionality and new environments via Business Requirements and Business Acceptance Criteria Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Project Setup Coordination Coordinate with project managers (PMs) and relevant stakeholders to set up new projects on the Azure DevOps platform using Agile methodology as well as coordinating the project requirements that includes Kanban & waterfall for AMP Ensure projects are configured with the appropriate templates, processes, ways of working and workflows according to organizational standards. Maintain documentation of project setup processes for repeatability and training purposes. Access & Administration Management of DevOps Manage user access, permissions, and roles on the DevOps platform to ensure appropriate security and collaboration. Conduct regular audits of access and resolve any discrepancies or issues. Assist in troubleshooting administrative issues related to DevOps. Training & Development of Project Structure Setup and Ways of Working Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to project teams to support project structures and workflows Provide ongoing support and coaching to project teams to ensure consistent use of Waterfall and Agile tools Collect feedback to improve training content and delivery. Reporting Generate and distribute regular reports on project status, performance metrics, and key indicators using DevOps data. Customize reports for different stakeholder groups, ensuring relevant insights are highlighted. Maintain a repository of historical reports for audit and analysis purposes. Data Extraction & Business Analysis Extract project data from DevOps & Power BI for analysis, reporting, and decision-making. Ensure data accuracy and integrity by validating extracted data against project records. Automate data extraction processes where possible to improve efficiency Coordinate User Requirements Sessions with Stakeholders for translation to technical documentation, user stories, epics, test plans, test cases and business acceptance criteria Coordinate project planning for software development or ICT engineering requirements Management and Escalation of Project-Related Issues or Risks Monitor project-related issues logged in the issue & risk tracker for projects or programmes of work Coordinate with project teams to prioritize, assign, and resolve Escalate unresolved or critical issues/risks to appropriate management levels promptly. This project will require close coordination between sites, education centres, the RCSI SONM, the Dept. of Neurology, Beaumont Hospital, the Irish Neurology Nursing Forum, and a representative from Academic Neurology within FutureNeuro and Trinity College Dublin (Prof. Orla Hardiman). The person appointed to this post will be based in Beaumont Hospital and RCSI, and will work closely with the existing Project Manager to cover a national remit. The role-holder will support the roll-out of this new Level 9 qualification by supporting the development of the clinical training element in the participating hospitals, building relationships with key stakeholders, assisting in the support of clinical sites across Ireland to establish the course, supporting the accreditation process if required, assisting in the evaluation of the initial programme and setting up local structures to ensure future students have access to required experience and evidence based practice and supporting the development of a Neurology Nursing policy framework for submission to the Department of Health. Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain key metrics, KPIs, and executive dashboards for real-time monitoring of system implementation performance, data accuracy, and compliance. Ensure adherence to industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance policies to maintain audit readiness and compliance. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement Drive operational transformation initiatives, applying principles to optimize workflows and eliminate inefficiencies. Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual reconciliation efforts and increase accuracy in network asset tracking. Expand system capabilities to emerging technologies, ensuring scalability and adaptability. What we're looking for. You will have a strong technical background in telecommunications and ERP systems, combined with leadership experience in managing complex programs. TITLE Senior Technical Executive, Project Management Office AREA Corporate Affairs, Project Management Office (PMO) REPORTS TO Manager, Project Management Office, or other nominated person SALARY Point 1 of the Senior Technical Executive salary scale i.e. €70,647 on a pro rata basis LOCATION The FSAI currently operates on a hybrid-working basis which provides clarity around remote working and attendance at head office in The Exchange, George's Dock, IFSC, Dublin D01 P2V6. JOB ENVIRONMENT The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) is a statutory, independent and science-based body, dedicated to protecting public health and consumer interests in the area of food safety and hygiene. The FSAI support these essential services through the development and implementation of a number of projects that scale from impacting a single internal system to projects that impact on food businesses and the wider public in general. These projects also range from the review or enhancement of existing systems/services to the development of innovative and sector leading technologies to implement changes in public engagement and improving public health. The FSAI has an established programme and project management framework and is looking for support to further expand on these foundations. The FSAI expect the assigned project manager to have a diverse set of project management skills with experience in the delivery of projects in various sizes of organisations - ideally in other public sector bodies. JOB PURPOSE The Senior Technical Executive will lead and coordinate the planning, delivery, and evaluation of specific projects within the FSAI. The role involves working collaboratively across internal teams and with external stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are achieved on time, within budget, and in compliance with internal FSAI and public sector standards. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Plan, lead, and manage projects from initiation to closure in line with public service governance standards (e.g. Public Spending Code, Project Management Methodologies). Prepare business cases, project initiation documents, project plans, and status reports. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project milestones. Monitor and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and changes. Track budgets and expenditure, ensuring value for money and compliance with procurement policies. Support change management processes associated with projects. Prepare documentation for senior management, steering committees, and governance boards. Ensure project activities comply with regulatory and legislative requirements. Participate in post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and promote continuous improvement. Support the PMO to enable measurement and tracking of benefits after project completion. Contribute to the development and implementation of project management frameworks and templates within the organisation. The above list is not exhaustive, and you may be required to take on other duties and responsibilities for the effective and efficient performance of the role. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE Essential: A minimum of four years' relevant experience in project management. Proven experience managing stakeholders, facilitating workshops, and delivering complex projects. Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
