We are seeking a Project Lead to support the Senior Project Manager and the Service Team in delivering high-quality HVAC project solutions to clients nationwide for Sirus Air Con. This role is key to ensuring projects are delivered safely on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, while supporting both operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience as an AC engineer, preferably with a background as a senior AC engineer seeking to transition into a Project Management role.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Project Manager and wider team in coordinating project activities, solving day-to-day issues, and helping keep projects on track.

• Work collaboratively with other Sirus teams (HVAC, BMS, or mixed-trade) to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Support the preparation and tracking of project financials, including helping with cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts, in line with company processes and guidance from the Senior Project Manager or PMO. Monitor project costs and maintain accurate financial reporting throughout the lifecycle of each project.
• Help keep project costs on track by assisting with budgets, purchases, and coordination of subcontracted services. Oversee procurement and purchasing of materials and equipment, including negotiation with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Provide regular communication and visibility of project progression from inception to completion.
• Actively promote Sirus Air Con's services and capabilities to support wider group growth and client development.
• Where required, support the pre-construction/sales process by contributing to technical solution development, participating in presentations, and attending client consultation meetings.

Skills and Qualifications

• A qualification in Engineering (refrigeration preferred), Building Services, Project Management, or similar preferred but not essential.
• Some experience in managing projects within building services is a plus, especially in HVAC, mechanical, or electrical, and a willingness to learn and develop is important.
• Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can demonstrate client-facing capabilities and stakeholder management experience.
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems and good working knowledge of automation, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a high-pressure environment.

• Support procurement strategies, contractor selection, and construction oversight
• Ensure successful handover of projects to operations, with full validation and documentation

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering (Essential)
• Chartered Engineer status and PMP certification are also required
• 15-20 years of experience in pharmaceutical project execution, including both greenfield and brownfield developments
• Proven track record of managing cross-functional engineering teams and delivering complex capital projects
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, etc.)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with stage-gate project methodologies and capital project governance frameworks
