What You Will Be Doing
The responsibilities of the Project Manager will be:
- Day-to-day support and assistance to Project Managers in the management of diverse multi-disciplinary projects, teams, and stakeholders across a range of sectors.
- Liaison, coordination and management of internal stakeholders, Clients, third-party Consultants, Contractors, and other Stakeholders as appropriate.
- Facilitation, attendance, and contribution to meetings with Clients and stakeholders and in-house Senior Managers.
- Contributing to and implementing the development of the overall approach to the business to meet the desired objectives and outcomes.
- Provision of specific support and assistance to Technical Leads to drive commercial performance and overall project delivery.
- Ensure implementation of best practice and corporate policies and practices in project delivery.
- Preparation and support in developing and maintenance of monthly reports for delivery to senior management.
- Critically reviews project documentation and tracking costs, schedule, risk, resourcing etc to assess health of projects and identify and escalate issues early.
- Focus on change and scope management to ensure contract requirements are met. Address and respond to claims or disputes.
- Grow our business by strengthening relationships with existing clients and supporting expansion into new markets
- Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.

Position Specific Competencies
- Project Management – Detailed knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, including monitoring, and inspecting budget, schedule, risk, quality, and 3rd party performance.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in project management, execution, and delivery and / or portfolio management experience, along with the ability to adapt, innovate and meet changing demands.
- Demonstrate a successful track record and strong knowledge & experience in cost, programme, risk, and contract management across engineering projects.
- Strong technical experience in delivery of projects in engineering consultancies and/or related construction projects.
- Have a good knowledge & experience of Health & Safety legislation and regulations.
- Proven knowledge and experience of working with/to accredited Integrated Management Systems & Standards including quality, environment, health-and-safety, data security, risk, BIM etc.
- Strong planning and organisational skills and directing tasks and activities of teams.
- Ability to set up ongoing procedures to collect and review information as needed.
- Strong knowledge of project and programme management methodologies and industry best practice.
- Proven track record in dealing with complex / escalated issues, proactively and in a timely fashion and ability to achieve results within the set timeframe.
- Strong and demonstrable management skills including project management, procurement, contract management, financial and change management.

Qualifications
The desired qualifications and experience for the Senior Project Manager are:
- Relevant 3rd level qualification (Bachelor's/Master's/Doctoral degree) in project management, civil engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 7 years' experience in project management, project delivery and execution across projects of varying size and complexity.
- Chartered Engineer or close to attaining Chartership.

Overview of the role
The Project support engineer will be part of the Veolia site team at the client site in Dublin City Centre. He/she will liaise with the contract team, client engineering, equipment vendors and service providers to ensure maximum uptime of utilities plant and equipment within the contract scope, and that equipment is following all regulatory, statutory and client corporate requirements.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Day-to-day relationship with Veolia Contract Manager.
- Day-to-day relationship with Veolia Site Operations engineers Planner/Scheduler with client Engineering Managers and representatives.
- Day-to-day relationship with client project managers
- Responsible for early engagement with Client Operations and Project Engineers to ensure proposed capital projects are designed properly to deliver quality utilities that can support the Client
- Carry out concept designs and evaluation of different utility processes
- Complete detailed process design on live projects as necessary
- Provide process support and troubleshooting expertise to clients as required
- Compliance/quality engineering – recording and investigation of deviations on utility plant and equipment, using the client's quality system.

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to join our Project Support Co-Ordinator Team, this is an exciting opportunity to join our fast-growing business.
What You Will Be Doing
- Goods receipt of delivery dockets/Invoice via GRN App
- Receive materials and plant requisitions from project teams, review for accuracy for correct project, sub project and Work Break Down and send to Procurement (this enables to build understanding of Line Items required)
- Build relationships with project teams and site personnel, this will include traveling to site to work with the project teams to resolve on going issues
- Establish the site process for collection and processing of GRN's e.g., Identify persons accountable for collection of GRN through the GRN App and manage their compliance with this activity
- Ensure full compliance of documentation between the GRN App and MSD 365
- Problem solve missing GRNs highlighting the areas of non-compliance. Liaise with accounts payable, procurement and commercial to problem solve e.g., Delivery notes not received, Quantities not in line with orders, buying and delivery of goods to site
- Maintenance and housekeeping of projects; GRN reversal, orders and project closure.
- Other tasks to benefit the sites as the role progresses, determined by capacity and type of tasks.
What we are looking for:
- 3+ years previous Accounts Payable Experience or in a similar role
- Construction Industry experience an advantage
- Dynamics 365 experience a distinct advantage
- Attention to detail (due to high volume of invoices monthly)
- Excellent organization & time management skills (working to deadlines)
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Strong team player, compliance oriented and able to work on own initiative

Your Role as a Project Support Worker (Polish Speaker)
Cork Simon Community is currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Polish-speaking Project Support Worker to join our dedicated team. In this rewarding position, you will provide emergency accommodation and support for adults affected by homelessness. You will play a vital role in implementing care plans and promoting independent living skills, especially among residents from Eastern and Central Europe.
Your work will be guided by Cork Simon values and important models of care such as Trauma-Informed Practice and Harm Reduction. This is a fantastic opportunity for continued learning and professional development, with ongoing support from your supervisor and line manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Initial Contact and Support: Assess immediate needs upon first contact, record basic information, and refer to relevant services where necessary.
- Emergency Accommodation: Assist with admissions to the shelter, provide a welcoming environment, and ensure health and safety procedures are followed.
- Daily Living Support: Help residents with personal hygiene, meals, managing medication, and maintaining clean accommodation.
- Relationship Building: Develop trusting relationships with residents, challenge them positively, and motivate them to make changes at their own pace.
- Advocacy: Act as an advocate for residents, particularly those from Polish-speaking or Eastern European backgrounds, and assist with Habitual Residence Condition applications or appeals.
- Social and Educational Activities: Assist in implementing social activities and encourage residents to access education, training, and work opportunities.
- Care Plan Implementation: Work with Team Leaders and Project Workers to support the implementation of agreed care plans and harm reduction programmes.
- Health and Safety: Conduct regular checks and follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with neighbours and the local community, encouraging involvement and support for the project.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records, manage residents' contributions, and produce high-quality reports.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Language Skills: Fluent in Polish and English (both written and verbal).
- Experience: Previous experience in a care setting is essential.
