About the Role

My client's project managers provide tailored advice and hands-on involvement throughout the full project lifecycle. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth supervision, management, control, and delivery of either large-scale complex projects or multiple smaller assignments, ensuring the satisfaction of both the client and the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure projects are delivered in compliance with contracts and governance arrangements
  • Oversee quality assurance and overall project integrity

The role

We have an ambition to be the largest retrofitter of homes on the island of Ireland. We operate across all market segments, including social housing, private homes and small businesses to support them in upgrading their homes and premises. As we grow to scale to meet this ambition, we are broadening our Major Projects division, which is responsible for the larger works programmes with SEAI, Local Authorities and Approved Housing Bodies (AHB's), to support them in the design, procurement, and delivery of their social housing upgrade programmes.

Our Head of Project Delivery will look after our Warmer Homes programme, the largest fuel poverty upgrade scheme in the State. This is a heavily regulated programme with national coverage, where we will complete over 350 deep retrofit home upgrades per year.

You will

  • Be responsible for the development of a programme of works associated with secured bids for Local Authorities and Housing Associations
  • Secure and onboard contractors to deliver these programmes
  • Work with clients on programme schedules, scope requirements and amendments
  • Ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of all employees and contractors, developing and deploying a robust Safety Management System for all contracted works
  • Work to avoid cost overruns and secure successful delivery of the projects with the best commercial value for our clients and SSE Airtricity

You have

  • In depth knowledge of Building Design principles and building energy performance
  • Familiarity with financial / cost modelling for Building Works
  • Experience of working on SEAI or equivalent funded programme
  • Programme Management experience of large and multi-site construction programmes
  • Experience leading a diverse workforce of both technical and non-technical insource and outsource partners
