ICT Project Support Officer Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a suitably skilled Administrative Project Support Officer to join their team. The duration of this post is 12 months initially with possible extensions thereafter. This role will be a Flexible/Hybrid working arrangement, but the successful candidate must be available to attend client sites when required. Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €28.04 per hour based on an annualised salary of €51,206 You will accrue 30 days annual leave per year and paid Bank Holidays. Purpose of the Post The Project Support Officer role plays a critical role in facilitating project success by coordinating the setup and maintenance of projects in either Waterfall or Agile/DevOps. They will also have the responsibility for monitoring project status, reporting, and managing issue escalation. They will also coordinate and complete the CSE SAS Bi-weekly status report as well as developing new reporting dashboards in Power BI, SharePoint and Azure DevOps and metrics for SAS and specifically AMP The role: Maintain clear and consistent communication with PMs and stakeholders. Document all processes, changes, and key decisions for transparency. Stay updated on Agile and Waterfall platform updates and new features. Proactively identify potential project risks and communicate early. Prioritize tasks to support critical project needs effectively. Business Engagement through the provision of Escalation pathways for key stakeholders in relation to risk and issues and their root cause and path to green, Coordinate with IT/DevOps/CISO teams. Report on Issues and Risks as well as delivery/forecast burn-down charts for software development, technical build and project progress Provide Input to Testing Plans for new functionality and new environments via Business Requirements and Business Acceptance Criteria Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Project Setup Coordination Coordinate with project managers (PMs) and relevant stakeholders to set up new projects on the Azure DevOps platform using Agile methodology as well as coordinating the project requirements that includes Kanban & waterfall for AMP Ensure projects are configured with the appropriate templates, processes, ways of working and workflows according to organizational standards. Maintain documentation of project setup processes for repeatability and training purposes. Access & Administration Management of DevOps Manage user access, permissions, and roles on the DevOps platform to ensure appropriate security and collaboration. Conduct regular audits of access and resolve any discrepancies or issues. Assist in troubleshooting administrative issues related to DevOps. Training & Development of Project Structure Setup and Ways of Working Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to project teams to support project structures and workflows Provide ongoing support and coaching to project teams to ensure consistent use of Waterfall and Agile tools Collect feedback to improve training content and delivery. Reporting Generate and distribute regular reports on project status, performance metrics, and key indicators using DevOps data. Customize reports for different stakeholder groups, ensuring relevant insights are highlighted. Maintain a repository of historical reports for audit and analysis purposes. Data Extraction & Business Analysis Extract project data from DevOps & Power BI for analysis, reporting, and decision-making. Ensure data accuracy and integrity by validating extracted data against project records. Automate data extraction processes where possible to improve efficiency Coordinate User Requirements Sessions with Stakeholders for translation to technical documentation, user stories, epics, test plans, test cases and business acceptance criteria Coordinate project planning for software development or ICT engineering requirements Management and Escalation of Project-Related Issues or Risks Monitor project-related issues logged in the issue & risk tracker for projects or programmes of work Coordinate with project teams to prioritize, assign, and resolve Escalate unresolved or critical issues/risks to appropriate management levels promptly. Maintain records of issue/risk resolution timelines and outcomes as well as RCA's Maintain Project Support Toolset: DevOps Platform: Primary tool for project setup, tracking, reporting, and administration. Issue Tracker: Tool within DevOps for logging, managing, and escalating project issues. Communication Platforms: Email, Teams, Viva Engage, or other tools used for stakeholder communication. JOB ENVIRONMENT The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) is a statutory, independent and science-based body, dedicated to protecting public health and consumer interests in the area of food safety and hygiene. The FSAI support these essential services through the development and implementation of a number of projects that scale from impacting a single internal system to projects that impact on food businesses and the wider public in general. These projects also range from the review or enhancement of existing systems/services to the development of innovative and sector leading technologies to implement changes in public engagement and improving public health. The FSAI has an established programme and project management framework and is looking for support to further expand on these foundations. The FSAI expect the assigned project manager to have a diverse set of project management skills with experience in the delivery of projects in various sizes of organisations - ideally in other public sector bodies. JOB PURPOSE The Senior Technical Executive will lead and coordinate the planning, delivery, and evaluation of specific projects within the FSAI. The role involves working collaboratively across internal teams and with external stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are achieved on time, within budget, and in compliance with internal FSAI and public sector standards. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Plan, lead, and manage projects from initiation to closure in line with public service governance standards (e.g. Public Spending Code, Project Management Methodologies). Prepare business cases, project initiation documents, project plans, and status reports. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project milestones. Monitor and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and changes. Track budgets and expenditure, ensuring value for money and compliance with procurement policies. Support change management processes associated with projects. Prepare documentation for senior management, steering committees, and governance boards. Head Of Department, Project Management & Design (PMD)

The role

We seek an experienced senior manager to lead our new Project Management and Design function within Ramboll Transport, located in the Major Projects Spearhead. The ideal candidate will bring international experience, manage and grow this team, and oversee the execution of large infrastructure projects with capabilities similar to a traditional PMO, including design management.

This role supports Project and Technical Directors by translating Ramboll's protocols and best practices to deliver major infrastructure projects for both Client side (Owners Engineers) and Design and Build (Contractor) projects.

Your team will be part of the Major Projects Spearhead, working alongside teams in Finland, Denmark, and the UK on complex projects. You will collaborate with the wider transport unit of over 4,000 team members to support project delivery, bringing your experience, passion, and connections to our evolution journey.

The position offers a broad mandate to support engineering and design projects and transport initiatives.

The role can be based in Copenhagen, Hamburg, Berlin, London, or Dublin, with location discussions possible. International travel will be expected as part of this senior role.

Your key responsibilities include :

  • Collaborating with top management and stakeholders to develop the new function

Ideal candidate profile :

  • Extensive international senior experience in engineering, design, owner, and contractor roles on major infrastructure and transport projects
  • Experience with PMO or PMD functions, especially in establishing international, remote teams
  • Civil infrastructure experience is preferred
  • Excellent English communication skills; Scandinavian or German language skills are a plus
  • M.Sc. in Engineering is advantageous
  • Membership in professional bodies such as PMI or ICE is desirable
  • Proven experience in project and personnel management within consulting, utility, or authority sectors

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
+ Be a recognized expert in your role, manage large projects or processes. Provides guidance, coaching and training to other employees within the job area.
+ Support PMO specific initiatives within CAS and collaborate across other OUs on specific activities (e.g. Peer reviews, training or review/update of harmonized procedures).
+ Communicate organizational capacity constraints, program risks, issues and decisions to core team leader, cross functional core team members and key stakeholders.
+ Develops and executes project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resources.
+ Ensures adherence to design control requirements.
+ Defines and negotiates project resource requirements.
+ Manages project budgets and oversees capital expenditures.
+ Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
+ Develops risk mitigation plans.
+ Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress.
+ Travels up to 10% of the time.
**Key Skills & Experience**
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
+ Requires a Level 8 Degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
**Nice to Have**
+ Experience with ablation products and therapies (e.g., catheters, generators)
+ Strong understanding of medical device regulations (e.g., IEC 60601, IEC 62304, ISO 14971, ISO 13485)
+ Experience with Microsoft Project and ProChain scheduling methodologies
+ Skilled in organizing work for unstructured problems or execution tasks
+ Broad engineering knowledge across product development functions
+ Ability to effectively interface and communicate with employees at all organizational levels
+ Strength in working with cross-functional teams across facilities to solve problems
+ Ability to work independently and take the initiative on tasks
+ Exceptional influencing and interpersonal skills, negotiating, managing change, resolving conflict

As our new Head of Department for Project and Programme Management, you will be part of the Ramboll Transport team in the UK & Ireland. You will be responsible for heading up a multidisciplinary team covering Project and Programme Management, Commercial, Digital and Production Management and Sustainable Solutions to successfully deliver a wide range of diverse projects while driving business growth.You will join a supportive and collaborative culture and environment, allowing you to develop and grow in your role.

The role will require the successful candidate to drive the external focus for the team and develop a Business Development & Growth Strategy to realise the ambition to growing the Departments external revenue streams and growing their own client base. You will bring an established industry network and be involved in client engagement and development. You will also be responsible for establishing a professionally accredited chartership path for the team, providing external recognition that can be offered to clients. Your internal responsibilities will include leading the successful delivery of multidisciplinary projects across the Transport portfolio, and actively contributing to the operational performance of the Business Unit and driving business growth.

Our portfolio includes clients within the public and private sector and our multi-disciplinary teams assist our clients and external collaborators in all phases of a project - from developing business plans and strategic planning to selecting the right solution and all way through the execution of the project.

You will be a significant contributor to the Transport leadership/management group, where you and together with the other Heads of Department, will contribute to setting the strategic priorities that will ensure our continuous growth.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Business Development & Growth Strategy

  • Develop a Business Plan outlining a Development & Growth Strategy for the Department by growing new external revenue streams and client base.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, expanding the company's market share.
  • Build and nurture client relationships, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Lead proposal and tender preparation, positioning the consultancy competitively in the industry.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and professional forums.
  • Previous experience and industry connections in the Water and Energy sectors would advantageous.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring expectations are aligned and met.
  • Liaise with senior management to report on project performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Foster collaboration between internal departments to enhance service delivery.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and develop a high-performing project management team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and mentoring of project managers to ensure professional growth and expertise.
  • Set performance objectives, conduct appraisals, and ensure continuous improvement in project delivery.
  • Manage departmental budgets and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Drive profitability through efficient resource allocation and cost management.
  • Contribute to pricing strategies, contract negotiations and change management to maximize revenue.
  • Drive improved profitability and operational performance across the delivery of projects in the Transport portfolio.
