Role Summary We are currently seeking to expand our community team by employing a dynamic and enthusiastic Community Mental Health Nurse to work as part of a service for children and adolescents with mental health challenges. The Community Mental Health Nurse has a pivotal role in the delivery of effective, recovery orientated, high quality, team based and integrated care. The purpose of this role is also to provide assessment and support to the individual and families through the delivery of appropriate treatment and recovery orientated interventions to support care in the community working towards a reduction in the need for acute hospitalisation. The service actively promotes multidisciplinary teamwork, continuing professional development and innovation in Community Mental Health Nursing. Have successfully completed a post registration programme of study, as certified by the education provider, which verifies that the applicant has achieved a National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) major academic Level 8 or higher award maintained by Quality & Qualifications of Ireland (QQI) or can provide written evidence from the Higher Education Institute that they have achieved the number of ECTS credits equivalent to a Level 8 or higher standard in a health care or management related area.
