Job Summary
These posts are Children's Disability Networks 7 East Cork City based in Carrigtwohill and in Network 13: Carrigaline/Kinsale/Bandon with bases in Carrigaline and Bandon. The post holders will be working as part of an interdisciplinary team providing supports to children and young people, 0-18yrs and their families. The criteria for CNDT is children with complex needs arising from a disability, where those needs require the support of an interdisciplinary disability team. This might include children with intellectual, physical, sensory disability, Autism and children at risk of or query developmental delay. These teams are under the national model of service provision "Progressing Disability Services for Children and Young People" lead by the HSE. The successful candidate will be employed by the Brothers of Charity Services Ireland.
Assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions are provided in the context of an interdisciplinary team. The CDNT aims to maximise the child/ young adult's full potential and works within the context of the family and community, empowering and supporting parents/care givers and family members

The Candidate:
Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc
Candidates must have professional qualification as per the Department of Health guidelines See job description for full criteria.
Have a university degree or diploma (QQI Level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject, AND
- Have an Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology OR
- An equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health. AND
Applicants must have at least five years satisfactory post-graduate experience in the area of professional psychology, no more than three years of which was spent in gaining the post-graduate professional qualification and no less than two years full-time spent in post-qualification experience as a professional psychologist. Years in excess of the permitted three years for completion of the post-graduate training or time not worked will not be taken into consideration when assessing the five years' experience requirement.
Driving Licence
Must have a full driving license and means of transport which qualifies you to drive on Irish roads.
Age
The Public Service Superannuation (Age of Retirement) Act, 2018* set 70 years as the compulsory retirement age for public servants. * Public Servants not affected by this legislation: Public servants recruited between 1 April 2004 and 31 December 2012 (new entrants) have no compulsory retirement age. Public servants recruited since 1 January 2013 are members of the Single Pension Scheme and have a compulsory retirement age of 70.

Salary Scale:
€98,503 - €158,784 including 2 LSI's (DOH Consolidated Scales 1/3/25) per annum and pro-rata for part-time role

St Patrick's Mental Health Services seeks full and part time temporary Staff Grade Clinical/Counselling Psychologists to provide the highest standard of care to service users with mental health difficulties. The SPMHS Psychology Department is dynamic innovative department that delivers a wide variety of psychology led group programmes as well as opportunities to work as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT). The candidate should have a track record of working with adults or adolescents with mental health difficulties. There are positions available mainly in the adult service. A strong background in psychological formulation skills, delivering evidence-based interventions and working cooperatively with others is essential. Experience delivering group interventions is desired.

Responsibilities
The duties of the Staff Grade Clinical/Counselling Psychologist are outlined below. In carrying out all duties, the Staff Grade Clinical/Counselling Psychologist should ensure that all Hospital policies, health & safety procedures, and legislative requirements are met at all times.
- Being responsible to the Director of Psychology for service provision and compliance with all professional standards and guidelines
- Ensuring provision of the highest standards of practice and care in the Psychology Department
- Working as a member of multi-disciplinary team(s), attending meetings, liaising and co-ordinating with other professional staff
- Delivering psychological group-based treatment programmes
- Carrying out appropriate assessments and providing feedback to teams, patients and families were appropriate
- Implementing treatment strategies, or otherwise contributing to the care of patients as required and documenting progress appropriately
- Supervising Assistant Psychologists if required
- Attend their own professional supervision regularly as required
- Attend Psychology Department meetings
- Participating in CPD and research, availing of opportunities to develop knowledge of and specialise in areas of interest
- Carrying out all other duties relevant to the role as may be required from time to time
- Responding to the needs of the Psychology Department which may mean working in different areas of the organisation such as Willow Grove Adolescent Unit, St Patrick's Hospital, Lucan and/ or with specialised client groups such as older adults.

Terms and Conditions
Tenure: Full time and Part time, Temporary contracts.
Working Week: Thestandard hours applying to theses position is 35 hours per week.
Salary: The salary for the position is based on the Staff Grade Clinical/Counselling Psychologist 2025 pay scale ( ,254 - 6,080) and is commensurate with experience.
Annual Leave The annual leave associated with the position 25 days.
Pension: All pensionable staff become members of the pension scheme after successful completion of probation. The scheme is a defined contribution scheme with a deduction from the salary of the employee of 4%. In respect of an internal appointment being made the individuals existing pension arrangements will continue.
Probation: The appointee will be appointed in a probationary capacity for the first six months during which time the job holder's performance will be subject to ongoing review.
Any extension to or suspension of the period of probation will be in line with the European Union (Transparent and Predictable Working Conditions
Health: The appointee must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the position and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.

- Ensure that all Behaviour Support Plans are of the highest quality and are compliant with all regulatory standards.
- To deliver training in relation to intervention strategies and monitoring methods
- To model intervention and support strategies with Patients.
- To ensure an ongoing focus on CPD in relation to professional accreditation and professional development.

Job ObjectivesWe are seeking applications for the role of Mental Health ACT Administrator, who will support the Centre on a full-time contract. The role will suit experienced candidates with strong organisational and administrative skills.
The Mental Health ACT Administrator will support with the delivery of duties within the Centre daily in line with regulations.

- To ensure compliance is met as per regulations on day to basis, and in-line with Nua Healthcare Services policies.
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders including but not limited to: Service User Representatives (advocates, family members, allied statutory health professionals, and other key stakeholders as required.
- Quality Check Individual Care Plans (ICP's) and ensure they are updated by Clinical Staff as required.
- Escalate to Senior Nurse if Daily Progress Notes, Individual Care Plans (ICP's) and MDT Forms are not updated as required.
- Ensure Clinicians/Support Staff are completing excel finance tool for Service User accounts and balancing and correcting Finance ledgers.
- Ensure Files are neat and tidy.
- Ensure Accidents and Incident Reports closed on the AIRS System by the Senior Staff Nurse and filed in folder for previous week (Monday - Sunday).
- Ensure Clinical Risk tools up to date.
- Scrutinising section papers and checking that relevant paperwork is present and correct – including highlighting any areas which require amendment in a timely fashion.
- Ensuring that diaries and spreadsheets are updated with listings of Court and Tribunal hearings.
- Notifying all relevant parties concerned regarding report deadlines and dates of hearings.
- Chasing up reports for all Court and Tribunal Hearings.
- Contacting Clinicians and other relevant parties and arranging their attendance at Hearings.
- Assist the Tribunal Clerk when required to do so, ensuring that the room is set up, paperwork available and collecting visitors from reception and to liaise with the Tribunal Panel in the absence of the Clerk.
- Data input of Section within the Mental Health Act spreadsheet.
- Attending Mental Health Act Administration and Governance Meetings as required.

Skills Requirement- Knowledge of standards and legislation relevant to the area.
- Experience of engaging with external agencies (MHC, HSE, Tusla etc.)
