**About our team:**
We have a number of opportunities across Ireland for Quantity Surveying graduates to work within our cost management teams, to help provide construction cost management services to our clients in Ireland, the UK and around the world.
AECOM provides Cost Management services to Clients in both the public and private sector, and to organisations in all areas of the Construction Industry including:
+ Commercial - new build, refurbishment and fit out for major property developers.
+ Manufacturing, Industrial and Automotive facilities
+ Education establishments including schools, academies, colleges and universities.

What you'll do:
Graduates will have the opportunity to work on local projects, as well as to interact with teams based across Ireland, the UK and potentially further afield
You will have the opportunity to be involved in all stages of a project; from initial project definition and brief, cost planning, through to procurement, construction and building use. You will work with a wide variety of clients and designers including some very high-profile names. We believe that doing the work itself gives the best opportunity to learn, so you can expect to be given responsibility, and will need to be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team, all whilst receiving the guidance and support to allow you to develop.
**Job Responsibilities:**
The Cost Management role we offer can be varied and is dependent on the Client, sector, and project. The role is generally split in to pre and post contract duties, which can include:
Pre-Contract:
+ Cost modelling and cost planning
+ Benchmarking
+ Value and Risk Analysis
+ Attending design team meetings
+ Procurement tasks and managing tender processes
+ Compilation of contract documentation
Post Contract:
+ Attendance at site progress meetings
+ Completion of Valuations
+ Financial reporting
+ Due Diligence reporting
+ Review and management of change control procedures.

+ Lead cost management and quantity surveying services for projects and programmes.

+ Professionally Qualified (or working towards same) - ideally Chartered Status (Quantity Surveying) with the SCSI / RICS, or other equivalent institution CIOB / IEI but not a minimum requirement.

The Role Liaise with customers and project managers Management of commercial and contractual aspects of relationships with customers, consultants and subcontractors Measure, price, negotiate and agree budgets and costs for variations to project scope Check project costs are correct and raise/resolve queries where necessary Attend pre-contract meetings, liaise with a wide range of construction professionals, and ensure timely completion of agreed actions Produce and maintain up to date procurement schedules Compile and issue invitations to tender, analyse subcontractor quotations and make recommendations for placement of orders Compile subcontract orders for approval Visit site to measure and value works completed Assess subcontractor payment entitlement and process payments Carry out reconciliation of cost and value to date/forecast to keep the management team informed of project performance Work closely with contract and site management staff to support the smooth running of the office and the site, carrying out other duties as required Assist in the guidance and development of junior surveyors What you need Hold Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management 2+ years of industry experience in the Civils sector Motivated, driven and works well within team Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Word For any more information on the role please contact Steve on INFORM3 Recruitment is an equal opportunities employer. Quantity Surveyor required to join a top Build Contractor in Sligo. This client has a large pipeline of work in including Commercial projects, Residential and Schools. Role: These include but are not limited to: Procurement, appointment and management subcontractors & suppliers through to final account Produce accurate progress accounts Preparation and assessment of interim and final valuations for progress payments Monitor and report on project costs Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and cost overruns Assist the pre-construction team in the delivery of tenders Stay updated on industry innovations, regulations etc Requirements: Level 8 degree in Quantity Surveying Minimum 5 years relevant Irish experience ideally with a main contractor Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook. One of Irelands most established and respected civil engineering contractors is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team for in their head office in Cavan. This is a great opportunity for a QS with civil experienceto work on a key projects while gaining long-term career development with a leading contractor. Key Responsibilities: Manage cost control, budgeting, and reporting for water, infrastructure and civils projects. Liaise with the site team, subcontractors, and client representatives to track variations and manage valuations. Ensure compliance with contract terms and procurement procedures. Prepare interim and final accounts, cost reports, and monthly valuations. Assist in tendering and procurement processes when necessary. Requirements: Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years experience in a QS role, preferably within the civil engineering or utilities sector. Familiarity with public works contracts and infrastructure project workflows. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Full clean drivers licence required.
