Security Analyst (OT)

The Security Analyst will support the Technology Security Manager in the identification and ongoing monitoring of specific security risks within BnM OT and IT systems. The Security Analyst will liaise with the business and other IT functions and the wider business representatives to resolve issues, manage risk and to solve problems and deal with difficulties that arise with compliance of policy, process and other guidelines.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include the following:

  • Development and enforcement of OT Security Controls/Policies to protect the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of BnM assets.
  • Support annual external or Internal audits as required, reporting of risks, controls and/or standards that are in place.
  • Keep abreast of information security frameworks and methodologies and other information security related best practice appropriate to the role.
  • Provide analysis, assessment and trending of security log data from a large number of security devices.
  • All employees are expected to co-operate fully with all provisions taken by the company for ensuring Health and Safety, and Welfare of co-employees and members of the public using the premises.
  • Proactively participate in the Performance Management process to ensure delivery of own, and the wider team's, objectives.

The Person
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification, skills, knowledge and attributes:

  • 3-5 years industry experience.
  • 3rd level qualification in Information Technology or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Strong communication and Business Analysis skills are essential for the role.
  • Experience with CISSP/CEH/CompTIA an advantage.

TAX ANALYST (EMEA)
As we expand Starlink (our revolutionary satellite broadband internet) across the EMEA region, Starlink Internet Services Pte. Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of SpaceX, is seeking a Tax Analyst to work on direct and indirect tax matters across the region, including managing tax compliance, driving tax initiatives and technology and supporting tax audits.

Responsibilities

  • Data preparation and coordination with external service providers for the preparation of both direct and indirect tax returns
  • Coordinate all tax payments and calculations, including monitoring payment dates, preparing payment files, and recording payments
  • Prepare or assist in the preparation of tax provisions for local and consolidated financial statements, reconcile tax/VAT/GST accounts, and work with financial statement auditors
  • Responsible for tax invoicing and withholding tax-related matters
  • Work with internal and external transfer pricing teams in preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing files and tracking of intercompany balances
  • Research and resolve tax technical issues arising from transactions and product offerings, or as part of the tax compliance or audit process
  • Assist and manage notices and audits received from various taxing authorities
  • Assist with maintaining tax records and related documents
  • Collaborate and partner with cross functional teams (operations, policy, commercial, legal, customs, treasury, accounting, finance) and other stakeholders in order to build a strong networking across these departments and with external resources to ensure compliance with all local tax laws and regulations
  • Working with any outsourced third-party service providers and overseeing the tax compliance activities outsourced, where applicable
  • Assist in implementation of any systems or technologies associated with tax initiatives
  • Support the business in assessing tax-related matters as required

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or tax
  • 2+ years of combined tax experience in public accounting and/or a multinational corporation

Preferred Skills And Experience

  • Prior experience at a Big 4 accounting firm
  • Prior experience at multinational companies with business activities across multiple countries in EMEA
  • Experience in tax compliance, transfer pricing, tax advisory and tax controversy
  • Prior experience dealing with GST/VAT
  • Data analytics skills
  • Detail oriented, organized, and efficient in work processes
  • Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively as well as independently

Additional Requirements

  • We will be prioritizing applicants who have the current right to work in Ireland
  • This is an onsite position based in Dublin, Ireland. Remote and hybrid work will not be considered
