Recovery Driver - Limerick Do you have a passion for the motor industry, strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics, and C or CE driver's license? Our client, a leading roadside assistance provider, is looking for looking for a skilled and customer-focused Recovery Driver to join a dedicated roadside assistance team. This role offers the opportunity to use your mechanical expertise while helping people every day on Ireland's roads. Schedule Shift work to include weekend availability Location: Limerick What's on offer: Base salary of €42,000 with (OTE of €9,000 - ,000) Bike to work scheme Company pension 23 days annual Leave plus 2 company days Employee discount Gym membership The Ideal Candidate: Full, clean Category C and CE driving licence with valid CPC. Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics; previous experience in a similar role is an advantage. Flexibility to work 40 hours per week across a 7-day schedule, with overtime during peak times. A proactive and safety-conscious attitude. Duties: Assess roadside breakdown situations and coordinate appropriate recovery solutions. Deliver exceptional customer service in a professional and courteous manner. Ensure vehicles, tools, and equipment are maintained to high standards. Communicate effectively with the operations team using company systems. Complete all necessary paperwork and digital logs accurately and promptly. Support junior staff or new team members through informal mentoring or on-the-job guidance Attend regular training sessions to stay up to date with industry standards and equipment. Our Dublin based client is looking for an IT Disaster Recovery Lead to take ownership of enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity planning. This role is critical in safeguarding IT infrastructure, services, and operations across the organisational environment. The successful candidate will drive strategic and operational resilience by coordinating preparedness activities, leading testing cycles, and ensuring that business continuity and recovery plans are comprehensive, actionable, and current. Key Responsibilities: Enterprise Resilience Leadership: Direct the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategies across the groups technology functions. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with leaders and operational stakeholders across multiple business units to align DR/BCM strategies with organisational objectives. Vendor Coordination: Partner with managed service providers and third-party vendors to ensure their recovery responsibilities meet agreed standards and SLAs, including active participation in test planning Business Impact Analysis: Lead the creation and maintenance of Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) to identify and prioritise essential services and the resources required for their recovery. Documentation & Tooling Maintenance: Ensure all DR/BCM documentationincluding BIAs, BCPs, and risk assessmentsis consistently reviewed, updated, and accessible. Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Evaluate and report on the impact of risks on mission-critical systems and functions, and collaborate with the IT Risk Manager to drive prioritised risk mitigation plans. Major Incident Response: Serve as a key IT responder during major incidents requiring the invocation of disaster recovery or business continuity protocols. Essential Requirements : Proven experience in leading DR/BCM initiatives within large, complex IT environments. Strong knowledge of industry-standard frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-34, ITIL). Experience working with external vendors and managed service providers on DR/BCM delivery. Demonstrated ability to conduct Business Impact Analyses and risk assessments. Hands-on experience with coordinating and executing DR test plans and documenting results. Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills. Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business or related field. In this Role, you will: Be the team SME for Dell PowerProtect technologies. Manage multiple outsourced IT Service Partners to ensure we get high quality support and meet service targets. Support the deployment of new features and enhancements to backup services and related reporting. Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage our backup services, proactively identifying and resolving any issues. Support the IT Service Management process used in Technology Services. Create and maintain documentation such as operational procedures and technical standards. Maintain compliance through adherence of defined Controls both now and into the future.
