Job Purpose:
Ø Based out of Limerick
Ø Travel to client sites throughout the country in order to complete a range of environmental monitoring in line with relevant EN standards & guidance.
Ø Managing site contracts, scheduling compliance monitoring and compilation of reports.
Ø Liaising with clients and providing feedback on monitoring results
Ø Operation in line with ISO 17025 quality management system within the organisation.
Ø Ensuring continuous improvement and efficient use of company time and resources
Principal Accountabilities:
The Trainee/Technician is a starter/ intermediate IPC compliance monitoring role and should have experienced deemed suitable by Management. They require mentoring and supervision but should be working on attaining competence and compliance in relation to ISO 17025 in the following areas.
· Risk assessment training- they should sign off all risk assessment but should not complete risk assessments until work has been completed on at least 10 sites.
· Technical SOP training
· The principle atmospheric pollutants, their sources and impact on the environment
· Overview of Irish legislation and control of air pollutants
· Health & Safety requirements and responsibilities pertaining to environmental monitoring.
· Site review and Risk assessment completion.
· Preparation of Equipment and construction of Job files in preparation for work on-site.
· Driving to customer sites throughout the country.
· Completion of air, noise, water and other types of monitoring as deemed necessary.
· Completion of reports and collection of data to ensure all jobs are fully traceable.
· Ensuring equipment/ documentation and systems are fit for purpose.
· Provision of technical support to clients.
· Any other business associated with the company operations and requested by senior management.
Qualifications/ Skills:
Qualifications:
· Degree in Science/ Engineering Discipline
or
· Individual with proven technical/ engineering/ maintenance skills
· Full clean driving licence
Experience
· Graduates or Individuals with 1-2 years' experience in the field.
· Familiarity with operating under a quality management system.
· Safe Pass, Manual handling, Working at heights etc.
Knowledge:
· Management systems e.g. ISO 17025, 14001, 9001
· Environmental regulations and standards

M&M Qualtech are currently recruiting for an Waste Management Inventory Clerk on our day shift for an initial 11-month fixed term contract role with a view to going on for longer.
The hours of work for this role are 06:00am to 14:25pm, Monday to Thursday and 06:00am to 13:00pm, Friday
The first 3-4 hours of the shift will be waste and recycling management in the warehouse. The remainder of the shift will be regular Inventory clerk duties such as picking, kitting, updating systems and other duties as requested by your manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Sorting and safe disposal of waste and recycling materials on site
- Ensure packaging waste is placed in the correct collection bin
- Use of equipment (compactor, wrapper etc)
- Conduct duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure's
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Data Input, System Updates, Excel Updates
- Responsible for the receiving and identifying of incoming goods
- Responsible for the proper running and layout of stores
- Responsible for ensuring that all stored material is properly identified and located
- Responsible for the stock rotation and cycle counting
- Responsible for stores housekeeping
- Support the operations and manufacturing teams in the supply of materials and product in an orderly manner.
- Adhere to all GMP and Quality procedures as per company standards
- Actively promote and adhere to health and safety protocols and be responsible for your own safety and that of your colleagues. Contributing to a safe work environment to minimise hazards and incidents in the workplace.
- Participate in company wider projects and initiatives
- Other reasonable tasks as outlined by your manager
Specific Requirements
