- Provide leadership, coaching to engineering team towards implementation of Integrated Lean 6 sigma ways of working: delivering zero breakdowns via preventive/predictive maintenance strategies Including PM (Progressive Maintenance), CBM (condition-based monitoring), Visual controls & tools Mgmt., Lubrication mgmt. & Calibration of equipment(s), Breakdown / root cause analysis etc.
- Interface with key stakeholders internally and externally to develop and maintain effective relationships, align priorities in order to deliver the company objectives, and goals.
- Establish a strong governance to review asset reliability plans being accountable with accountable for manufacturing standards, government regulations and effective communication to relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive reliability engineering program for the chocolate manufacturing plants you are accountable for.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and assessments to identify potential reliability issues and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Analyse equipment failure data to identify trends and patterns and develop strategies to improve equipment reliability.
- Lead Breakdown analysis and root cause analysis investigations to identify the underlying causes of equipment failures and develop effective corrective actions.
- Develop and implement predictive maintenance strategies to proactively identify and address potential equipment failures.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of spare parts and necessary resources for maintenance activities.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment reliability and develop action plans to improve performance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in reliability engineering practices and technologies, and recommend their implementation where appropriate Effectively liaise with all stakeholders, Operations teams including the Business area manager and line manager, procurement, master shopper, Maintenance planner, Business development and engineering teams and external stakeholders including equipment manufacturers.

The Team:
The Intrinsic Reliability (iRel) Group is responsible for ensuring Product/Process Lifetime Robustness. This is achieved by investigating the intrinsic reliability of semiconductor devices/circuits and sensors. The iRel Group is made of up of a range of engineering disciplines including electronics, physics and mathematics. The group is split across three locations namely, ADLK (Limerick, Ireland), ADWL (Wilmington, MA) and ADSV (San Jose, CA). The successful candidate will reside in ADLK.
The Position:
The position to be filled is for a Staff Intrinsic Reliability Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for the lifetime characterization of novel technologies such as electrochemical metabolite and gas sensors for medical, industrial and automotive applications through device reliability testing.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with Quality and R&D Teams to de-risk ADI's incoming pipeline of next generation sensors through reliability testing utilizing industry standard methods but also development of new stress tests and techniques.
- Function as the SME for electrochemical technology quality within the Global Quality Team.
- Collaboration with Quality and R&D Teams to identify root cause and corrective actions for failures.
- Development of statistical lifetime models to evaluate long term technology robustness.
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry, Biomedical engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in reliability testing, failure analysis, validation, and verification within a product development or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis methods and handling experimental data; proficiency in tools such as JMP or Minitab is essential.
- Working knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages for automation or analysis.
- Ability to design and execute test plans, DOEs, and validation protocols to support product verification and reliability assessments.
- Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies such as root cause analysis, FMEA, and corrective/preventive actions; Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or above) is desirable.
- Understanding or background in electrochemistry, sensors, or medical device technology is highly beneficial.
- Experience working within a highly regulated sector (such as medical devices, pharma, automotive, or aerospace), with knowledge of relevant regulatory and quality standards (ISO 13485, GMP, FDA requirements).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge data, assumptions, and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.

The SRE & Security Engineering team is the bedrock of trust for the 169,000+ businesses that rely on Klaviyo to power their growth. How You'll Make a Difference
- Architect and Lead: Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a unified SRE and Security Engineering organization. You will build and mentor a world-class, multi-disciplinary team of engineers in Dublin, fostering a culture of operational excellence, proactive problem-solving, and blameless learning.
- Champion Secure Reliability: Drive a "secure and reliable by design" philosophy across all of engineering. Partner with product and platform teams to embed security and reliability principles into the entire software development lifecycle, from initial design to production deployment.
- Own Platform Integrity: Take ownership of the availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning for Klaviyo's global platform.
- Build a Modern Security Program: Lead the evolution of our security program, including application security, vulnerability management, incident response, and infrastructure hardening. Ensure our platform is defended against modern threats and meets the highest security standards.
- Drive Automation: Build the "paved road" for Klaviyo engineers by developing automated, self-service tooling and infrastructure that enables teams to "move fast, no shortcuts".
- Ensure Global Compliance: Serve as the on-the-ground technical leader for GDPR and other international data protection regulations. You will be responsible for implementing and verifying the technical controls that safeguard customer data and ensure compliance.
- Lead Through Incidents: Command both security and reliability incidents, guiding teams to rapid resolution while fostering a culture of blameless post-mortems that drive meaningful, systemic improvements.

What You'll Need
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role managing SRE, DevOps, or Security Engineering teams.
- Proven experience building and scaling engineering teams, ideally with experience establishing a new team or office.
- Deep, hands-on experience with cloud-native production systems at scale (AWS preferred).
- Strong technical background in distributed systems, observability, container orchestration (Kubernetes), infrastructure as code (Terraform), and CI/CD principles.
- Demonstrable experience leading a modern security engineering function, including application security, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Deep, practical experience implementing technical controls for GDPR compliance and familiarity with other security frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO

Requirements
- 5+ years of demonstrable experience as a Site Reliability Engineer across our technology stack
- Strong understanding of SRE principles: SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and incident management.
- Experience with cost management and optimisation in Azure.
- Experience with Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Front Door.
- Proficiency in one programming language: Go, PHP, NodeJS, C#, yaml, Python or Java
- Experience with infrastructure running 100% in Azure
- Experience with disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high availability in Azure.
- Database exposure to: MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redshift, CosmosDB
- Familiar with distributed tracing, log aggregation, and incident response in cloud environments.
- Familiar with infrastructure as code Azure ARM/Bicep or Terraform
- Familiar with observability & monitoring using: Honeycomb, NewRelic, CloudWatch, Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus, KQL, Azure alerts
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub, CircleCI and Jenkins
- Willing to be part of a rotating on-call schedule
