Position Overview:

Job Bridge Global is seeking a passionate and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) for our clients Healthy Lifestyle Outpatient Clinic. This full-time day position offers an exciting opportunity to work with patients in promoting healthy living and managing chronic illnesses. You will be instrumental in developing personalized care plans that foster a proactive approach to health and wellness in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and screenings, identifying patient needs and developing tailored care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients on topics such as nutrition, exercise, chronic disease management, and preventative care.
  • Facilitate lifestyle modification initiatives, encouraging patients to adopt healthier habits through counseling and resources.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care and ensure that resources are available for patient education and support.
  • Monitor patient progress towards health goals, adjusting care plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
  • Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate health records in compliance with clinic policies.
  • Participate in community outreach programs and health events to promote wellness and preventive care.
  • Stay current with best practices in nursing and health promotion strategies through ongoing education and professional development.
Requirements

Education/Formal Training Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing- RN

Work Experience Requirements

  • 1-3 years Acute care environment
  • 1-3 years Registered Nurse

Licenses and Certifications Requirements

  • BASIC LIFE SUPPORT
  • Registered Nurse

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Skill and proficiency in applying highly technical principles, concepts, and techniques, which are central to the professional discipline in Nursing.
  • Analytical skills are necessary to assess complex patient conditions effectively and to develop comprehensive plans of care. Synthesizes multiple sources of information to assist in the resolution of human responses to complex problems

Supervision Provided by this Position

  • The Registered Nurse directs and delegates all patient care activities on nursing units.

Physical Demands

  • Frequent invasive and non-invasive patient contact.
  • Exposure to patient body fluids as well as exposure to hazardous or poisonous materials.
  • Ability to react quickly to emergencies.
  • Ability to handle and administer narcotics as needed.
  • Ability to read and write to communicate orally and in writing with other individuals.
  • Normal hearing; normal vision, including color, night, and peripheral vision.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. without assistance and push and pull up to 250 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, sit in one place, squat, kneel, reach, bend, crawl, and twist throughout the shift.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motion as well as using hands for gripping and squeezing; ability to use hands and feet together for repetitive, coordinated motions.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
