Be able to demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate with each individual, their families, other professionals and people important in the individuals life. Be flexible and capable of managing priorities within their workload. They should be competent to work on their own initiative as well as being a team player supporting their colleagues. To maintain up to date and accurate records to ensure a high standard of care and support is provided to each resident at all times. Experience in and commitment to developing supports that are person centred. 6-month probation period applies. Requirements: On the live register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland or awaiting registration. An RNID qualification is Desirable Excellent Communication Skills to include Leadership, Mentoring, Support and Supervision. Knowledge of HIQA standards. Knowledge of Safeguarding and Protection of Vulnerable Adults. Excellent, interpersonal, organisational, logistical and IT skills. Flexibility within the roster. Full current Driving Licence. Typical queries that the team may receive centre on child and adult diagnosis, education, employment, and child and adult daily living skills. Vacancy: We are currently recruiting a Community Support Officer to join the AsIAm Community Support Team on a 5-month maternity cover contract commencing in September. The Role: The Community Support Officer will report directly to the Information Line Manager and will be part of the team responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Information Line service, assessing calls, emails and Instant Messaging and responding or referring as appropriate. This will include the following on a day-to-day basis: Provide administrative support to the Management Team and/or relevant Departmental Functions, where required. Support in preparing a brief of tasks and duties for the Team to plan and allocate duties for the day in conjunction with Management Team Managing and booking Individuals' health related appointments Updating Individual Risk Management Plans in consultation with the PIC / Deputy Managers and Key Worker Updating and issuing Daily Planners, Key Working Sessions, Health and / or Behavioural Checks, as required. Ensuring Key Workers / Support Staff are completing the Individual Finance Checklist Ensuring files are up to date and organised in a neat and tidy fashion. Ensuring team meeting minutes are typed up and made available through SharePoint. Ensuring all Incident, Accident and Daily Reports are completed for the previous week. Ensuring fire drills are completed by the designated person. Skills Requirement Qualification: Qualification (NFQ level 6 or above in healthcare or related discipline) Knowledge: Knowledge of social care or a health-related sector Experience: 2 Years' previous experience in social care setting or a health-related discipline Skills: Excellent communication skills. Proficient in written communication skills such as report writing. Highly organised with a strong attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills. Administrative experience.
