We are seeking a highly skilled Point of Sale Terminals Product Consultant to support post-merger integration initiatives for a Financial Services Client. This role will be instrumental in consolidating the Point of Sale product portfolio and defining the future go-to-market strategy across EMEA markets, business channels, and customer segments.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in POS ecosystems and a strong track record in leading complex integration programs, particularly in M&A environments.
This role is 5-days per week onsite
Responsibilities
Integration Leadership
- Define and manage the product scope for Point of Sale terminal integration across multiple platforms.
- Assess existing Point of Sale portfolios (hardware, payment apps, middleware, certifications) and recommend migration and product strategies.
- Lead discovery and strategy workshops with business, operations, and technology teams to align on future-state product propositions.
Market And Product Requirements
- Define market and product requirements in collaboration with product management, market research, and business stakeholders.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as the product liaison between internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
- Collaborate with Technology, Product, Compliance, and Business units to align integration activities with strategic objectives.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on risks, dependencies, and progress.
Change & Risk Management
- Identify potential integration risks (e.g., legacy dependencies, certification gaps, contractual obligations).
- Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Support knowledge transfer and training for internal support teams and client-facing staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years' experience in POS terminal product management, consultancy, or payments integration.
- Strong understanding of POS hardware, payment applications, and middleware.
- Experience in managing integration projects during mergers or acquisitions.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.

· To keep work area tidy and safe and report any hazard, accident, loss or damage to management.
· To be aware of trained first-aid personnel on the premises and the location of first aid box.
· To observe all safety rules and procedures, including those laid down in the Health & Safety Statement for your place of work.
· To participate in fire and accident drills as directed by the hotel safety officer and/or your Head of Department.
