Our client, a well-established retail chain, is seeking a Senior Store Manager to lead the team at their busy branch in Raheen, County Limerick. The successful candidate will bring significant retail management experience with strong commercial and market awareness to drive sales, manage costs and optimise stock levels. You will lead, engage and develop a diverse team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and outstanding customer service. Responsibilities as Store Manager

  • Lead sales performance to meet or exceed KPIs while maintain a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Supervise and motivate the sales team, providing coaching, support and ongoing development to sustain high morale and productivity.
  • Maintain outstanding store presentation, ensuring cleanliness, merchandising standards, and a welcoming shopping environment
  • Enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, security protocols, and relevant regulatory requirements
  • Manage daily operational aspects of the store, including staffing levels, schedule planning, and stock rotation to ensure efficient site performance

Skills and Qualities

  • Minimum of 2-3years’ experience in high volume big box retail management, with a preference for candidates who have worked in builders’ supplies, agricultural, plumbing, electrical or DIY environments
  • Strong business awareness and practical understanding of the local retail landscape
  • In-depth knowledge of categories such as agri-inputs, builders’ suppliers, plumbing, electrical, and DIY hardware
  • Proven track record in delivering outstanding customer service aligned with company values
  • Excellent leadership and team-management skills, with strong attention to detail and organisational discipline
  • Experience in customer-facing roles and ability to uphold and embed the brand’s culture and values

**Position Purpose:**
As part of a busy transport team, our Customer Service Representatives (Class C drivers) are responsible for the collection, destruction, movement and unloading of confidential waste paper and electronic storage devices on behalf of various customers within the professional, financial and retail industries.
**Key Job Activities:**
Working a 45-hour week over 5 days (07.00- 16.00) and acting as a key point of customer contact, you will also be expected to reconcile/complete all relevant documentation and issue a certificate of destruction via a hand-held terminal.
Remove the console bags from each console and tie them tightly so no paper escapes while transferring to the truck.
Ensure that no material is left in the console.
Replace the console bag with an empty bag and lock the console.
Take material directly to the shredder truck and proceed to shred.
Make sure the truck gates are secure so that none of the contents escape from the truck during the shred.
Immediately upon completion of the shredding locate the client's for signature.
Give and explain certificate of destruction to client.
Record time shred was completed.
**Education:**
**Experience (North America & LATAM):**
Junior and Leaving Certificates.
**Experience (EMEAA):**
Relevant driving experience and a Class C licence, along with a full driver CPC card.
The ability to undertake heavy lifting and physically demanding work, involving the safe movement of large wheeled trolleys on and off vehicles.
Excellent customer service skills and plenty of flexibility around working hours.
Ability to read and understand client information sheets.
Ability to write clear messages on daily reporting sheets.
