Objectives of this role:

• Must have A.S.C.O.N.E Experience
• Ensure a safe environment through a team effort of diligent active patrol, access control, monitoring and equipment control.
• Be always visible and observant.
• Respond immediately to incidents swiftly and appropriately in a calm professional manner.
• Maintain the company's reputation with professionalism and legal compliance.
• Collaborate with other security officers and site management.

Responsibilities:

• Complete daily reports including relevant information, observations, CCTV footage and signatures.
• Patrol property on foot.
• Investigate and take appropriate action as required by company policy on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activity, safety, and fire incidents.
• Control and monitor CCTV always adhering to GDPR and perform building and equipment inspections.
• Secure all doors and exits depending on shift.
• Strong Understanding Retail Security .

Skills and Qualifications Required

• Must have 3 years proven background experience
• Must hold an in date and valid PSA licence.
• Proven experience as a security officer
• A clear spoken voice and good command of English.
• Experience with security equipment and CCTV.
• Preferably able to travel to other sites in the region
• Own transport (Required)

Key Guard Security are aiming to provide quality security services including static security, mobile patrols, key-holding, retail security and alarm response. We provide these services to a broad range of clients in multiple locations across Ireland.

We are currently recruiting for a Retail Security Officer to work in the Dundrum area. We have various sites available, such as corporate, static and retail. We are particularly looking to hear from candidates who are searching for a new challenge, and want to provide the best customer experience possible to our client and their employees and visitors.

Typical duties include:

• Protection of life and property.
• Customer service and representing Keyguard - RMS Security.
• Identifying potential problems and resolving them within your recommended standard operating procedures.
