We are looking for a Whiskey and Spirits Retail Specialist on a temporary seasonal contract from October 2025 to January 2026 that has experience within the industry or a candidate who is willing to develop their knowledge, to join our shop team on Dawson Street Skills required:
Passion and drive for delivering the highest standard of customer focus & service.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and deal with large groups of people effectively & efficiently.
Ideally, the candidates would have knowledge & passion for whiskey but this is not a necessity, as full training will be provided. All candidates must have a hunger for excelling in this area and have strong sales attributes.
Ability to deal with customers responsibly & respectively as well as maintaining close relationships with local concierges and industry staff.
Ability to work independently but also as part of a team.
Self-motivation, punctuality and positive working attitudes are essential.
Ability to work weekends and holidays, as scheduled.

Documentation/review of existing core processes at store level
- Development of new processes that make store operations more efficient
- Rollout of new processes already developed within Musgrave but have yet to achieve cut through at store level
- Develop and Implement a consistent way of working across each brand
- Develop and use reporting tools that capture input and output through clear and measurable KPI's
- Through new process optimisation, drive efficiency as part of Centra and SuperValu Next Gen projects
What we'er looking for:
- A minimum of 3 years retail experience in a store management position with a third level qualification in Sales/Business or similar will be advantageous.
- Experience in working in project management
- Experience in managing pilot initiatives and process mapping
- Experience working on major retail rollouts as part of a cross functional team
- Excellent communication & relationship management skills
- Commercial acumen and reporting skills
- Good computer skills including MS Office and project planning
- As this role is field based a full driving licence is required.
