BIM / Revit Technician Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid) Salary: €45,000 to €5,000 DOE Were seeking a talented BIM / Revit Technician (MEP) to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy based in Dublin City Centre. Youll support the delivery of projects across the hospitality, residential, education, and healthcare sectors all while working as part of an experienced and collaborative design team. We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Revit Designer with expertise in Revit MEP capable of 3D design of electrical services for multiple projects. Our clients are multinational Pharmaceutical, Food and Data Centre (Mission Critical) companies. This is a hands on technical role that will assist the Dublin offices to reach its next level of growth. Responsibilities As an Electrical Revit Designer you would be responsible for:- Coordination with other PM Group offices to understand the scope of work, deliverables, time lines, man hours etc. Electrical detailed design of cable containment, MCCs', distribution boards, lighting and small power, fire alarm and security for pharmaceutical cleanrooms and other light industrial buildings. The work will be completed in both 2D AUTOCAD and Revit MEP 3D packages with multiple users involved. Qualifications To be considered for this role, you will have: A degree in Electrical Engineering. 5+ years' experience with an EPC firm working on electrical services design. Detailed design experience in 2D and 3D of electrical services for cleanrooms and light industrial buildings involving cable containment, MCCs', distribution boards, lighting and small power, fire alarm and security etc Ability to coordinate with others designers including Architecture, Structural, HVAC services and Process piping disciplines. The Designer role is a key position in our engineering delivery team. Responsible for the design and coordination of HVAC and utilities in REVIT. A desktop based role with flexibility in hybrid working to work from the office or home. Responsibilities Experience of working and being proactive within a multi-discipline design team, demonstrating technical, coordination and detailing skills. Design and Co-Ordination of Building Services Systems in accordance with local, national, and international standards and current best industry practice. Attend and participate in client and PM Group meetings. Provide technical support and assistance to Engineers, incorporating comments to design as required. Preparation of production information drawings in Revit & AutoCAD for Detail Design meeting all project schedule/deliverable dates. Implementing PM Group Quality & CAD Revit standards Develop plantroom equipment arrangements for HVAC and piped utilities based on equipment selections and schematic design. Develop duct/pipe services sizing and distribution layouts based on equipment selections and schematic design. Feed development of layout design back into the schematics. Develop a clash free design resolving clashes as required with other teams, disciplines and the clash coordinator. The ability to manage/mentor other Building Services Revit designers on a project.
