Governance

* Undertake regular Internal Health and Safety Audits and inspections of wards and departments within the network, through the application of the environmental audit which focuses on specific Health and Safety topics, and document relevant corrective actions.

* Take an analytical approach on information gathered from audits and inspections and act on findings.

* Conduct audit analysis and produce complex audit reports on the trust environmental audits and recommend remedial actions on any deficiencies highlighted.

Patient/Customer Service

1. Assist with the development of systems and procedures for reducing staff absence through provision of proactive risk reduction measures, early intervention and rapid referral facilities for staff.

2. Participate in the development of the organisation's wellbeing and emotional resilience programmes

3. Work with key stakeholders in the identification and development of health surveillance and systems and arrangements for staff wellbeing.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience working in a health and safety capacity in a complex environment, minimum 5 years with 2-3 years in a Senior Leadership position.
• Health and Safety experience within healthcare.
• Professional certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH (CMIOSH), or equivalent) IOSH qualification
