Description
We are seeking a highly detail oriented and analytical Sales Data Operations Analyst to support the Consumer, Business, and Education sales organisation. This role will be pivotal in managing and maintaining customer master sales data, customer lists, and territory assignments, ensuring data accuracy and operational efficiency. You will partner cross-functionally with teams in Sales, Finance, Planning, and IS&T. The ideal candidate is proficient in handling large data sets, has experience with Snowflake and Tableau, and can represent complex data in a clear actionable way.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the regional lead on a global territory management solution, partnering with global stakeholders and other regions for process improvements, and system alignment
- Collaborate with Planning and Finance to validate sales coverage data for target setting, forecasting, commissions, and business reviews
- Update territory assignments to ensure alignment with business strategy and account ownership
- Be the EMEIA business expert on sales coverage and territory management
- Manage customer list hygiene and integrity across Consumer, Business, and Education
- Maintain and update customer master sales data across systems
- Pull and analyse large data sets using tools such as Snowflake for ad hoc analysis
Represent large data sets in dashboards providing clear visibility, patterns, and insights to customer / territory coverage
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business, data analytics, information systems, or a related field - or equivalent experience
- Demonstrable experience in sales operations, business operations, or a data analyst role
- Strong proficiency with SQL and Snowflake for querying large data sets
- Proven experience building interactive and digestible dashboard using Tableau
- Solid understanding of sales processes, customer hierarchy, and territory management
- Experience working with cross-functional and global teams
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Consumer, Business, and/or Education sales teams in an operations, sales enablement, or a similar role
- Proficient with CRM systems, especially Territory Management applications (E.g. Salesforce Territory Management) and data governance practices / policies.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts to solve business problems

to join our team based in Dublin to support the Market Development (MDO) Manager across all customers with all aspects of data analytics and insight generation to drive total category growth for the retailer and Nestlé Purina. This role will also support the MDO Lead with key category management initiatives including delivery of range reviews, range optimisation and merchandising recommendations. A day in the life of a Data Analytics & Shopper Marketing Manager.
In this role, you will deliver the cyclical insight by monitoring category performance and executing category tasks supporting MDO Lead. Additionally, you will develop and execute the shopper activation and brand plans with the Purina Brand Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver continuous insight through category performance monitoring: Complete regular performance updates both internally and externally, extracting insights from these sources and using them to continually bring opportunities for growth for both the customer and Purina
- Alongside category and brand teams, ensure all NPD successfully launched into customers
- Manage the day-to-day relationships with research agencies from coding to data delivery and reporting – developing data from Insight to Action
- Present insight, actions, and opportunities both internally and externally to influence Purina Market performance through Field sales, customer contacts and Business Managers
- Deliver winning shopper marketing plans to drive product ROS working with external shopper agencies to include the creation and delivery of Annual Shopper Marketing plan across all categories and channels to include our shopper presence online
- Effectively manage PFME (marketing budget) to maximise return on investment
- Execute Successful Tradeshows and Category Sells with retailers to drive Nestlé sales at key occasions
- Manages an outsourced service provider for POS storage and distribution
What Will Make You Successful
We are looking for a passionate self-starter with a curious and creative mindset to succeed in an exciting, fast paced channel. You will be comfortable working in an agile environment managing multiple projects at once. Relationship building is key to success in this role so you should be able to demonstrate an excellent relationship building ability internally, externally and within multifunctional teams.
You will also have:
- Previous experience in either category management, shopper marketing, insights management or consumer marketing
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into insights
- Proven ability to create category insight driven sales stories and identify opportunities and threats from market data
- Ability to manipulate data from Nielsen, Kantar and Dunnhumby

As a senior manager, the opportunity to assess and improve our clients' reporting policies and corporate governance processes will impact these ever-challenging areas during transformational and regulatory changes.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor diverse project teams working across Microsoft Fabric, including data engineers, data architects, and Power BI developers, delivering end-to-end modern data platform solutions.
- Own the Microsoft Fabric solution architecture for complex client projects—including lakehouse, data warehouse, data integration, and semantic model layers.
- Design and implement Fabric-based data artefacts using Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and Notebooks in line with client needs and industry best practices.
- Guide teams on best practices in Direct Lake mode, OneLake shortcuts, delta tables, and efficient data layer separation (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
- Implement Fabric-native data governance leveraging Microsoft Purview, sensitivity labels, and workspace security to ensure compliance, privacy, and data protection across domains.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including cloud engineers, data scientists, Power Platform consultants, and business stakeholders—to translate business needs into robust Microsoft Fabric-based technical designs.
- Conduct data architecture assessments for legacy or cloud-based environments and develop Fabric-based migration roadmaps, including data modelling, ingestion, transformation, and reporting.
- Define and implement CI/CD processes for Fabric using Azure DevOps Git integration, including workspace branching strategies, pull requests, build and release pipelines.
- Act as a trusted Microsoft Fabric SME and advisor to clients, providing architectural direction, governance standards, optimization techniques, and helping align Fabric deployments with strategic business goals.
- Stay current with Microsoft Fabric product evolution, industry trends, and data architecture patterns, delivering thought leadership and enabling innovation in client engagements and internal capability building.
To qualify for the role, you must have.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in data architecture and engineering, including experience leading enterprise-scale cloud data projects.
- Proven expertise in designing and deploying solutions within Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse architecture, Power BI Direct Lake datasets, and OneLake storage strategies.
- Solid understanding of data modelling techniques across transactional, analytical, and semantic layers; strong hands-on experience using delta lake formats and Fabric Lakehouse/SQL endpoints.
- Experience building and orchestrating Data Pipelines and Dataflows Gen2, including incremental loads, change data capture, and medallion architecture design.
- Proficiency with SQL, PySpark, and notebooks within Fabric for data transformation and enrichment workflows.
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile environments and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong leadership and client-facing communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, manage cross-functional teams, and translate technical solutions into business value.
Ideally, you will also have
- Experience working with multi-tenant or multi-domain Microsoft Fabric solutions, including cross-workspace or cross-company data sharing using OneLake external shortcuts and Azure B2B access.
- Awareness of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and ability to design compliant data architectures within Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience implementing data governance, data quality, and data lineage using Microsoft Purview, including managing metadata and sensitivity labels within Fabric.
- Consulting experience, with the ability to build trusted advisor relationships and provide both strategic and hands-on implementation guidance.
