**Primary Responsibilities of the Enterprise Architect:**
+ Advising and recommending enterprise architecture strategies, processes and methodologies
+ Recommending and participating in the analysis, evaluation and development of enterprise long-term strategic and operating plans to ensure that the EA objectives are consistent with the organisations long-term business objectives
+ Researching overall ICT solutions to identify ICT architecture requirements specific to the business needs of Change Healthcare International

Role Overview: Irish Government Regulatory authority based in South Co. Kildare needs an Enterprise Architect to join their team on a contract basis and assist in the delivery of an organisational development plan that will cover their architectural needs for the next few years. We are looking for a seasoned Enterprise Architect with experience of the full Microsoft 'Suite' including bizapps, PowerApps, Dynamics and some data work, who can come in and help to improve existing infrastructural efficiency while helping to develop a roadmap for the organisations future IT Architecture. You will be working with clients' stakeholders, leadership, and subject matter experts, to build a holistic view of the client's organisation strategy, business processes, applications, information, and technology assets. You will link the business mission, strategy, and processes of an organisation to its IT Strategy, and document this using multiple architectural models or views that show how the current and future needs of an organisation will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner.

You will play a key role in supporting the development of new client relationships and strengthening existing ones. You will also help our clients, who are industry leaders, navigate the complexities of technology issues facing their businesses. Your key responsibilities

Within Technology Strategy & Transformation, you'll work as part of a multi-disciplinary and high-performing team of problem solvers with extensive experience helping organisations solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution across different industries and technology solutions such as Manufacturing 4.0, IoT, consumer goods, healthcare, agrifoods, and identity management, in one or more of the following areas:
  • Assist clients with the development and implementation of technology and digital strategies, and the delivery of Enterprise Architecture services and tool.
  • Lead medium to large projects/workstreams reporting directly to the client and become a reliable advisor.
  • Planning, execution and delivery of engagements including technology transformations and technology related services.
  • Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, and maintaining communication with team members and leadership on progress.
  • Build strong internal relationships within EY Technology Consulting and across our other service lines.
  • Contribute to the growth of the practice through development of relevant industry and technology Thought Leadership material.
  • Coach and mentor team members and provide performance feedback.
  • Ensure compliance to EY quality and risk management processes across projects and other interactions.
  • Preparation of bids/tenders and take lead on key elements of response.
Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have:
  • A minimum of 5+ years of practical experience in delivering technology services including Technology/Digital Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, System Implementation and Agile Software Development.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME)/proficient in at least one Enterprise Architecture Domain (Applications, Data, Infrastructure, Security, Integration).
  • Experience in leadership/management roles including project management and managing teams.
Ideally, you will also have:
  • Experience within any of the following industries/sectors: Manufacturing, Retail and Consumer goods, Healthcare, Agri-foods, and Energy.
  • Experience in identifying client needs and the ability to reason logically and creatively to provide options and recommendations to resolve problems.
  • Knowledge ofb usiness and technology requirements to develop scalable application architectures and recommend courses of action to ensure technology is consistent, usable, secure and adds value to the business.
  • Experience in creating architecture standards, frameworks and best practices that help achieve business goals.
  • Ability to examine technology vision, opportunities and challenges, in addition to exploring emerging technologies and innovations.
  • Knowledge and e xperience in software development framework/methodology e.g. Agile, DevOps and cloud-based technology e.g Azure, AWS.
  • TOGAF, Scrum, ITIL, PMP, Prince2 certification, any domain specific certification, any technology vendor certification (Microsoft, AWS, Oracle etc) or management certification.
  • Ability to use abstract thinking to tie the dots from a technological/architectural standpoint.
  • Ability to build and maintain business relationships with vendors and partners, interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficient in project management and business development.
  • Proficient in using EA tool, office connectivity and productivity tools including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to use effective written and verbal business communication skills when interacting with clients and team members.

**What does a successful Enterprise Solution Architect do?**
You will have in-depth architectural experience in Cloud native and Web technologies, as well as exposure to Domain Driven Designs, Event Based Architecture, API and microservices architecture.

Solution Architect will be operating at a strategic level, identifying technology solutions that meet business requirements, defining and describing those solutions and providing specifications for product management as well as IT delivery.
**What you will do:**
+ Thought leadership in the sales and hand-off to delivery of complex solutions encompassing multiple products and services, involving a clear strategy for product integration
+ Influence product development senior management on enterprise-level innovation roadmap strategy
+ Assist Product Leaders with business guidance, consultative direction, and knowledge development
+ Solution leadership on complex, supporting RFPs requiring collaboration and input from multiple Fiserv divisions
+ Develop design specifications to build self-expandable, self-sustaining and self-healing solutions; as well as implement solutions focusing on reuse and industry standards at a program, enterprise or operational scope.
+ Maintain and/or obtain a detailed level of knowledge on company solutions, products and services.
+ Reduce time to revenue by managing pre-to-post sales handoff to implementations.
+ Engage extensively with development teams, related enterprise/software architects, business analysts, etc.
+ Apply extensive analytical skills to address the needs of corporate strategy, understand technology specifics, understand how different parts of the business operation are connected and how business processes achieve goals.
**What you will need to have:**
+ 10+ years of experience in large-scale IT system development, design and implementation, involving demonstrated project management, resource management, business analysis and leadership skills. Familiar with functions of hardware, software, and network systems
+ Payment solutions domain experience is must.
+ 5+ years of experience in, technical support, implementation, and/or product development with strong consultative and strategic sales support skill sets
+ Strong understanding of modern data, software and cloud practices. Knowledge in mainframe operations is preferred.
+ Exceptional communication and presentation skills, emotional intelligence, with the ability to listen, advise, empathize and explain to varied audiences, at all levels.
