In addition, they will assist the team leads in identifying broader data operations and analytics themes that influence broader external messaging and internal storytelling and status tracking.
Responsibilities
Data Management & Creation: 
- Partner with Communications and Global Market Operations Analytics and Technology teams on the creation of relevant data models, including the ingestion of data from source systems into the KKR Snowflake instance and curating the relevant business logic needed for reporting.
- Implement and own the best-in-class data governance practices; ensuring that data is well defined & transparently documented (what data exists, where does it exist, and how is it being used).
- Collaborate with engineering and make recommendations to integrate external systems into the KKR Snowflake instance and improve dataflow between external systems.
Data Reporting
- Reporting platform management: Responsible for the operations, maintenance and enhancements of existing (and future) external reporting platforms, including facilitating automated data collection and reporting within the platform tools (e.g. Workiva). Job Purpose
Dawn Farms is currently seeking for a
Science & Innovation Technologist
to join our
S&I Department
to be based in our Head Offices in
Naas, Co. Kildare
. The Science & Innovation Technologist will be responsible for delivering the experimental design and industrial trial phases of projects and other team support activities contributing to the continued growth of the business in its chosen innovation platforms and related markets. This is an opportunity for growth with exposure to state-of-the-art food research and manufacturing environment and diverse protein product development and applications.

Mon. to Fri. 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Role Responsibilities & Duties
- Designs and executes experimentation/trials in addition to designing new or improved methodologies and procedures to conduct validations and experimental testing.
- Works closely with Project Managers and advises on trial design, timelines, potential hurdles, and trials improvement to achieve technical advances at every trial.
- Generates and interprets data. Maintains SharePoint databases. Documents results in OneNote S&I trial reporting system.
- Effectively presents data/results to S&I team to drive decisions on projects during the experimental and prototype testing phase.
- Evaluates new ingredients, materials, products, or processes contributing to S&I capability building.
- Develops expertise on process and analytical methodologies. Prepares and updates specifications and SOPs on new or updated S&I capabilities.
- Contributes to knowledge building and other innovation activities by capturing key learnings and feedbacks to share within internal communications to improve our innovation process.
- Works closely with other S&I Technologists to coordinate trial planning and within team transfer of knowledge.
- Works with cross-functional departments to drive the execution of collaborative project tasks.
- Advises and guides other team members and other departments on scientific/technical matters, as necessary.
- Maintains safe working environment by practicing and coaching in established safety procedures.
Knowledge and Experience to be demonstrated in the role:
- Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or related field.
- General understanding of food applications and processing.
- Ability to read, collect data, analyse, and interpret technical information.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as percent, ppm and basic algebraic equations.
- Ability to apply principles of logical/scientific thinking to a wide range of problems.
- Ability to operate a variety of standard laboratory and pilot equipment and instrumentation (such as food production equipment, pH meters, balances, etc.).
- Excellent record keeping and organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Project management skills with ability to prioritize multiple activities simultaneously.
- Troubleshooting skills are key to this role.
- Ability to distinguish colours.
- Ability to taste and distinguish flavours.
- Candidate should be highly motivated and eager to learn.
- Understanding of GMP and Food Safety concepts.
- Basic ability to analyse and interpret data.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build constructive relationships with internal clients and outside suppliers.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Willing to travel as required.
- Regularly required to lift and/or move materials or equipment up to 10kg and occasionally required to lift up to 20kg.

- Number of projects pushed to the next stage.
- Technical advances achieved during trials
- Quality of communication, reports and documentation stored on SharePoint and OneNote.
- Weekly update on key technical advances and overview on trial activities.
- Trial reports completed and reviewed with Project Managers.

What you will do- Preparing and reviewing customer global regulatory reports, including AIFMD, Form PF, CPOPQR, MiFID II
- Onboarding new customers to the AQMetrics platform, including data mapping, data onboarding and product training
- Mapping of customer data sources to the AQMetrics data interface
- Assisting in the development of documentation, specifications and enhancements for the AQMetrics risk and regulatory platform
- Monitoring ongoing changes to existing and emerging regulatory requirements, constantly improving our regulatory reporting knowledge base
- Ensuring an efficient, streamlined, high quality filing process for AQMetrics customers
- Providing exceptional service to our customers by responding to queries in a professional manner
- Working closely with our product engineering team to provide customer feedback on the AQMetrics solution to ensure our product continues to be enhanced
- Experience working with complex data feeds and creating transformation logic to ensure these data feeds are suitable for the AQMetrics systems.
- Experience working with ETL based systems where data quality is key to the success of the
- Experience building and debugging complex systems in a team environment.
- Experience with version control software specifically Git and BitBucket.
- Strong communication skills, a positive attitude.
- Self-awareness and a desire to continually improve.
- Excellent people skills to interact with colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
- Relevant 3rd level Computer Science or relevant qualification.

We're seeking a Data Science Specialist to join our team on a temporary contract (12 months). This role is ideal for a new graduate or early-career professional who is passionate about using data to solve complex business problems. The ideal candidate will apply statistical, algorithmic, and machine learning techniques to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets. You'll play a key role in developing predictive models, uncovering actionable insights, and presenting your findings to stakeholders to drive informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Modeling: Apply advanced statistical analysis and machine learning to large datasets to extract valuable insights and answer key business questions.
- Model Development: Design and implement predictive and prescriptive models for complex problems, identifying opportunities for business improvement.
- Data Visualization & Reporting: Create clear and compelling data visualizations and reports to present complex results in an easily understandable format for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Collaborate with various business units to understand their functions and interdependencies, anticipating their data-related needs and providing solutions with appropriate supervision.
- Communication: Effectively communicate findings, insights, and model outputs to stakeholders through strong verbal and written communication.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Experience: 0-3 years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree is preferred, ideally in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
Skills & Competencies
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of data analysis and modeling techniques, including statistics, data mining, and machine learning.
- Analytical Prowess: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities with a basic to moderate ability to identify and resolve issues with supervision.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
