**Purpose of the job**
Performs a wide variety of electronic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Sets up and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines. May perform other tasks including, but not limited to; placing labels on packages, and putting data sheets with product.
**Major Responsibilities**
Responsible for compliance with applicable corporate and divisional policies and procedures.
+ Assembles, repairs, inspects and/or tests products following written instructions. Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions and other work related documents, written in English.
+ Sets up and operates a variety of manufacturing machines or equipment following written instructions in the English language.
+ Cleans tools and equipment per documented procedures.
+ Records information on approved documents.
+ Disposes hazardous waste material on corresponding hazardous waste areas.
+ Resolves problems and make routine recommendations.
+ Trains other employees when necessary.
+ Maintains all position certifications up to date as required to remain in compliance.
+ Completes daily work to meet established schedule with guidance from supervisor on prioritization of tasks.
+ Maintains confidentiality in handling sensitive information or documents.
**Education & Competencies**
+ Leaving Certificate or a pass rating in an Aptitude Test selected by Abbott Vascular
+ Relevant work experience advantageous but not essential or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
+ Excellent communication / interpersonal skills.
+ Enthusiastic and energetic with the ability to integrate quickly into a team environment.
+ Demonstrated flexible and innovative approach to work.
+ Cognitive Skills Performs routine tasks working from detailed writtenor verbalinstructions.Assignments require limited judgement introubleshootingproven processes.

This is a new position at our Ballytivnan site in Sligo, evening shift position.
Main responsibility work as a team member and support to the Supply Chain Manager in line with all safety, regulatory and organisational requirement.
+ Ensuring raw materials are checked, verified and booked in as per procedures.
+ Ensuring supply items are checked, verified and booked in as per procedures.
+ Completing receiver documentation for non-inventory purchased items. · Managing inventory and purchase of supply items within the warehouse.
+ Completing invoice documentation for finished product shipments. · Liaising with freight companies to arrange finished product shipments. · Distribution of post and courier deliveries within the site.
+ Coordination of courier shipments within the site. · Ensuring engineering stores deliveries are verified and booked in as per procedures
+ Manage the segregation and collection of recycling an waste at the site. · Maintain supply of materials to production.
Qualifications
+ Be computer literate
+ Warehouse experience
+ Previous experience of working in a regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous

The Technician, Production Operations position (G3 Swing Shift) is responsible for setting up and operating automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.

Role Specific:
· Operate equipment when training has been completed.
· Maintain equipment in a condition necessary to operate at its optimum.

· Pack and label Kits.
· Prepare of packing components for Kits.
· Kit/Vial Inspection as required.
General:
· Ensure that all Operations are performed to comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Quality System Regulations.
· Comply and co-operate with any changes to processes, machinery layout, production techniques, new equipment and processes.
· Maintain neat and accurate records, logs and documents as required.
· Understand and follow through on all relevant procedures and ensure compliance.
· Comply with Set Housekeeping rules within the Department.
· Comply with the Dress Code Regulations.
· Comply with all Environmental and Health and Safety regulations.
· Train other Personnel in any aspect of Job Function as required.
The essential requirements of the job include:
· Leaving Certificate or equivalent
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
· Working in a Manufacturing Operations role as part of a team using problem solving tools in a manufacturing work environment
· Knowledge and experience of GMP in a highly regulated manufacturing work environment.
Working hours;
+ Week 1: Mon - Thurs 8am-4pm, Fri 8am-3pm
+ Week 2: Mon - Thurs 4pm-12am, Fri 3pm-10pm
