We are currently looking for experienced Electricians our paving production facility in Dunboyne, Co.Meath. The successful candidate will have full responsibility of routine maintenance and servicing of plant equipment and machinery in an efficient and safety driven manner.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining all production machinery & equipment in close liaison with fitters on site.
Responsible for fixing breakdowns.
Liaise with contractors & suppliers.
Responsible for assisting with electrical installations.
Ensure that preventative maintenance becomes a priority to assist in the continuation of a demanding production schedule
Demonstrate a lead by example approach to all aspects of Health & Safety, be fully compliant with Company Health & Safety: policies, procedures, systems and rules, report all hazards and incidents and ensure that you work safely at all times.
Skills Required:
Fully Qualified Electrician
Minimum 5 Years Experience
Experience in Industrial & Domestic Installation techniques

Roster:

- Averaging 84 hours over a two-week period.
- Wages paid fortnightly on a Friday.
Language Requirement:
- Fluency in English is absolutely critical for effective communication with visitors and for the health and safety of the building's occupants.
Main Duties:
Security and Monitoring:
- Ensure all doors and windows are secure.
- Monitor CCTV system and report any unsocial activity to the Gardai.
- Respond to the building's fire panel and other emergency signals.
Visitor and Tenant Support:
- Welcome visitors and direct them to the correct floor.
- Ensure no unauthorized persons access the building.
- Check in contractors and assist visitors with inquiries.
Delivery and Administrative Tasks:
- Deliver milk and newspapers to required floors.
- Carry out check calls.
- Complete and email an end-of-duty shift report.
- Maintain detailed logs of patrols and security checks.
- Patrols and Inspections:
- Conduct regular patrols, checking toilets, car park, and general areas.
- Light re-stock of toilets during the night (no cleaning duties).
- Emergency Preparedness:
- Assist in evacuations or emergency procedures as needed.
- Maintain a log of incidents or irregular activities during the shift.
- Facility Management:
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards observed during patrols.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff for urgent repairs if necessary.
- Communication:
- Maintain clear and effective communication with day shift staff for a smooth handover.
- Update and maintain a contact list for emergency services and building management.
Qualifications:

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

- Create and update financial statements using our dedicated accounts production software (CaseWare)
