This 9 week summer analyst program is the gateway into our full-time rotational program that offers the opportunity to develop a comprehensive, end-to-end knowledge of the Securities Services business. You will spend your summer in one of our key business areas.

If you receive an offer to join full-time, you'll participate in three ten month rotations, covering areas such as Client Service & Sales, Product Development and Data & Analytics. This program is designed to establish a strong foundation in the key disciplines of Securities Services so that you will be able to take on significant responsibilities and projects within the business upon completion of the program.

As a Summer Analyst in the 2026 Commercial & Investment Bank Securities Services Leadership Program you will develop your analytical, technical and leadership skills while gaining hands on program management experience in your role. You will work with engaged managers in your location and have exposure to global teams across all areas of Securities Services. Additionally, you will have regular engagement and networking opportunities with business leaders, current program participants and alumni. You also have the support of a current program mentor, program manager, as well as your direct manager.

What We Offer

In this program you'll get an in-depth look into one of the business areas of Securities Services while gaining exposure to the full end-to-end business. You'll work with experienced managers and team members on priority initiatives that span across all aspects of Securities Services. You will have the opportunity to work across business areas within the Commercial and Investment Bank and colleagues around the globe.

As a summer analyst you will have programing created to provide you with a comprehensive overview of the business, key skills for the future and have access to all of our Securities Services University courses.

As a full-time analyst, you will cultivate and hone new skills through an ongoing training curriculum and program analysts will participate in a 2-week bootcamp. You will have the unique opportunity to participate in leadership trainings designed for your analyst class.

Upon successful completion of the summer program, you may receive an offer to join our two and a half year Securities Services Leadership Full-Time Rotational Program.

About The Role

  • Attend to all aspects of onboarding service delivery.

  • Focuses on timely and accurate delivery of all account opening functions, as well as delivering superior client service and resolution of client issues.
  • Exclusive point of contact for all custody related issues and testing prior to fund launches/transitions, including administration, fee billing, product guidance, system access and reporting tools available.
  • Promotion and guidance of instruction type offered by Northern Trust.
  • Co-ordinate and participate in demo training for NT portals were applicable.
  • Track onboarding service against project plans.
  • Structured daily tasks and checklists to be completed and signed off.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with critical business partners, internal clients & relevant third parties, e.g. operational teams, trustees, external advisors, consultants, etc.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Implementation of Custody on boarding of New Business.
  • Attend to all aspects of onboarding service delivery.
  • Responsible for client interaction, documentation issuance, review and system setups.
  • Understands client requirements and implements them correctly.
  • Focuses on timely and accurate delivery of all account opening functions, as well as delivering superior client service and resolution of client issues.
  • Exclusive point of contact for all custody related issues and testing prior to fund launches/transitions, including administration, fee billing, product guidance, system access and reporting tools available.
  • Promotion and guidance of instruction type offered by Northern Trust.
  • Co-ordinate and participate in demo training for NT portals were applicable.
  • Track onboarding service against project plans.
  • Structured daily tasks and checklists to be completed and signed off.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with critical business partners, internal clients & relevant third parties, e.g. operational teams, trustees, external advisors, consultants, etc.
  • Initiates frequent, proactive communication with internal and external clients.
  • Manage the overall service to client(s) with goal of delivering proactive, unparalleled client service to clients.
  • Promote the highest standards of integrity, accountability & client service across GFS EMEA and the global GFS business.

Skills/ Qualifications:

The successful candidate will benefit from having:

  • Several years' experience within Fund Services (preferably Custody)
  • Technical knowledge of the securities industry, its products and instruments.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Strong leadership skills, and as an advocate for the company.
