The Role
We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Security Engineering to lead and scale a high-performing security engineering team in Cork, Ireland. In this role, you will drive security initiatives across cloud security, application security, network security, and AI security. - Review and direct the work of physical security engineering design consultants
- Be the Subject Matter Expert of all designs, supervise and approve all design deliverables developed by the 3rd party and in-house design services teams at each design milestones of a project.
- Collaborate with other security organizations within AWS to develop design standards, evaluate cost, risk and benefits of designs and facilitate design discussions
- Participate in maintenance Basis of Design, prototype design, and template specifications for physical security elements
- Manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously.
- Travel for site assessments, internal design meetings, construction review, and interfacing with design consultants. Anticipated travel not to exceed 25%.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
