What you will need to be successful in the role

The successful candidate ideally should have:

• Third level qualification in Information Security or IT, or equivalent work or education-related experience preferable.
• At least 3-5 years' experience in an IT Security industry role, with hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations and five plus years' experience in the IT industry.
• Proven hand on experience and knowledge of the following security technologies including configuration, monitoring and issue resolution of Web Gateway, Web Application Firewall, IDS/IPS.
• Deals with technical issues - dealing with multiple systems and multiple features.
• Implement components of the technical infrastructure and be a resource for other technologists, architects and management
• Owns the resolution of incidents and problems. Acts as lead technologist. Ensures that solutions arrived at are comprehensive and of high quality.
