The Role
We are seeking a professional, compassionate Security Guard to support the safety and wellbeing of residents in our private emergency accommodation. This is not just about security — it's about creating a calm, respectful environment for those facing some of life's most difficult challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the safety and security of residents, staff, and the premises
Monitor entry and exit points and conduct routine patrols
Respond to incidents promptly and appropriately, using de-escalation techniques when necessary
Work closely with accommodation staff to uphold a trauma-informed, supportive environment
Complete accurate incident reports and daily security logs
Report any safeguarding or health and safety concerns
About You
Valid PSA licence
Previous experience in a similar role — experience in supported housing, emergency accommodation, or social care settings is an advantage but not required.
Experience in Security Sector preferred
