What skills and experience should you have?

• Passionate about technology, testing and delivering top quality software products.
• At least 5 years' experience in test automation.
• Practical experience of test automation including tooling selection and test framework design.
• Hands-on technical experience of building both API and UI test automation frameworks in a range of languages and technologies such as jUnit, Selenium, Serenity BDD (Cucumber, Rest Assured) Robot Framework and JMeter.
• Implementation, maintenance and execution of automated test suites to ensure thorough testing of requirements in a fast-paced Agile environment with an emphasis on BDD and BDD automated tools.
• Disciplined reporting, tracking, and resolution of product defects. Implementation of reporting technologies, integrated with automated test runs.
• Implementation and management of automated test scripts in CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience carrying out code reviews and adhering to best practice guidelines.
• Clear understanding of defect management lifecycle.
• Hands on knowledge of SQL.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Shell, Perl, Python etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills who excels when working in a multi-disciplinary agile team.

Automation Test Specialist

Hybrid role (2-3 days onsite in Dublin)

Contract role - 6 to 12 Months

Test Analyst will be working on multiple goals/objectives to drive quality and testing execution for customers in the BFSI Segments. The Primary responsibilities and tasks will include:

• 5 years of experience in automating various GUI/non-GUI based applications using Selenium WebDriver and Java language
• Experience in at least one project implementing BDD (behaviour driven development) using Cucumber/Jbehave and CI (continuous integration) using Jenkins.

I am seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join my client who is a leading financial services firm based in Dublin. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that deliver personalised, consistent digital experiences for our users around the world.

Ideally you will have over 6 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering with hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams from design through delivery

As a test Automation Engineer, you will create, execute and maintain automated test scripts to test software, firmware and systems. Automation scripts must ensure functionality, performance and bug free designs. Collaborate with design engineers, architects, product managers and other stake holders to create well documented test strategies including test plans and test cases. Identify defects and create bugs with clear and detailed reproduction steps and system information. Help monitor, maintain and improve automated continuous integration flow. Keep up to date and make recommendations on testing methodologies, frameworks and automation tools. Assists as needed in the analysis, recreation, and debugging of complex customer field issues.

• Design, develop, execute and maintain automation scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with design engineers and other stake holders to create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test strategies including the test plans and test cases.
