Summary
The Account Executive will be responsible for supporting and advancing new business development within our Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) Practice. - Own and drive the full sales cycle—from outbound prospecting and lead qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and close—across mid-market and enterprise accounts.

- 3+ years of experience in B2B enterprise sales, ideally within security compliance, SaaS, and/or professional services.

- Processing and reviewing policy documentation within agreed timeframes, maintaining compliance with internal procedures.
- Deliver friendly, responsive service that inspires broker loyalty and strengthens our existing partnerships.
- Uphold best practices and procedures to ensure the highest level of service, always acting in the best interest of our clients.
- Stay informed on market trends, pricing and product developments.
- Share feedback with management and wider team to help shape strategy and improve offerings.
- Ensure timely collection of premiums, working closely with finance and brokers to resolve any issues efficiently.
- Partner with other teams across the Group to support training initiatives, contribute to product development, and drive operational improvements.
- Participate in projects that enhance our processes, systems, and broker experience as required.
About You:
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a commercial insurance role.
- Minimum CIP or Grandfathered Commercial with proof of up-to-date CPD
- A working knowledge of, or interest in, Lloyd's insurance market would be an advantage.
- Excellent technical product knowledge and knowledge of Commercial insurance market.
- Proven track record of managing a portfolio of brokers, particularly handling policy renewals and addressing client inquiries.
- Proficient in negotiating terms and conditions to achieve favorable outcomes for both clients and the company.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with brokers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.

This role focuses on driving sales growth and customer expansion by promoting Contentful's solutions to new and existing clients. The position involves developing account strategies, managing pipelines, and achieving quarterly and annual sales targets. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Customer Experience to identify customer needs, position Contentful's value, and close complex deals. Responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying leads, managing RFIs/RFQs, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers through a value-based, consultative sales approach.
