Job Title: Senior HR Consultant Location: County Dublin Salary: €50,000 per annum Position: Full-time, Field Based Job Overview Our client is recruiting an experienced Senior HR Consultant to join their highly successful and professional consultancy team in Dublin 3. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and stimulating environment, providing expert HR support across a range of client sectors. This role is varied and demands a deep understanding of employment law and HR best practice, combined with a commercial mindset to effectively support clients. Key Responsibilities Provide specialist HR and Employment Law advice and support to clients. Design and deliver tailored HR solutions for clients across diverse industries. Lead complex workplace investigations including dignity and respect at work, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures. Offer pragmatic and robust guidance to clients on-site, by phone, video conference, or email. Build and maintain strong relationships within the existing client portfolio. Develop new client relationships and promote the company's HR and Employment Law expertise. Stay up-to-date with current developments in Employment Law and HR practices. Research, prepare, and present seminars and training workshops on relevant HR topics. Contribute to the development of new compliance products and HR solutions. Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to meet client needs. Work directly with clients on-site to resolve HR issues, close service gaps, or upskill in-house HR teams in line with best practice and legislation. Draft written content and contribute to employment law publications. Review client policies and procedures, providing advice to ensure legislative compliance. Perform any other duties as required by the consultancy team. Candidate Profile Relevant third-level degree in Human Resources, Employment Law, or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years' experience providing HR support in a business or management capacity. Proven experience advising on company policies and procedures. Excellent knowledge of Employment Law and its application in both unionised and non-unionised workplaces. Comprehensive understanding of HR developments in Ireland and internationally. Familiarity with the role of third-party industrial relations and employment institutions in Ireland. Commercially minded with strong business acumen. Flexible and adaptable with a proactive 'can-do' attitude, contributing to business growth. Skilled in researching and writing HR compliance materials. Keen interest in current HR and employment law trends. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong business English. Strong administrative and project management skills. Effective team player. Proficient in Windows and computer literate. Self-starter, innovative, and enthusiastic. Additional Requirements The role covers a nationwide consultancy service; therefore, regular travel and overnight stays will be required. About the Role Payroll and Workforce Management is a market offering within the HR Tech consulting team that provides services for companies to assess and enhance their HR operations, with a focus on optimising how payroll is delivered. As a practice, our Human Capital team has a strong HR Tech team and is looking for experienced and enthusiastic consulting / advisory professionals, who have prior experience in defining organisation's HR and payroll strategy; and delivering end-to-end transformations. We provide services to top-tier clients defining their payroll strategy, choosing their optimal outsourcing model and vendor, and partnering with the industry's most eminent vendors to implement new solutions for their clients. Specific Responsibilities: Work closely with client's project teams to understand their business needs and evaluate their current state. Engage and interview client subject matter experts, facilitating global and local workshops, reviewing client-provided materials and documentation. Participate in requirement gathering and translate business needs into system design specification or solution. Maintain familiarity with current payroll vendor offerings and assist in vendor selection activities. Design, develop, and document processes and procedures (global vs local) pertaining to the suggested future state roadmap. Support testing and data conversion activities in UAT, SIT/E2E, Parallel testing, SRT and Cut-over phases of transformation projects. Design and implement specific Workday functional modules or build integrations to send data from Workday to downstream systems such as Payroll, Time & Attendance, Middleware technologies such as Mulesoft, ADP etc. Guide the client through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and an understanding of the client's unique business requirements at all stages of the project. Identify strategies, risks, and options, recommend approaches and mitigations to meet client requirements. About You: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Previous experience as a Workday Integration Consultant or similar role, with a strong understanding of Workday and its integration tools. Proficiency in developing and configuring integration solutions using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and other integration tools. Solid understanding of integration concepts, such as web services (SOAP, REST), XML, XSLT, and API integration frameworks. Experience with Workday integration technologies, including Workday Studio, Workday Web Services, and Workday Report Writer. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
