We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Transfer Agency Senior Associate, Client Processing to join our  team. This role is located in Dublin, Ireland– Hybrid 4 days a week in office.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Act as the main point of contact for the client concerning operational and service-related matters. Responsibilities include attending weekly, bi-monthly, and monthly client calls, and reviewing the monthly scorecard.
  • Engage in the launch of new funds.
  • Address client concerns and requests promptly and within the agreed timeframe.
  • Supervise client servicing functions where appropriate to ensure client satisfaction with the provided service.
  • Ensure all staff maintain a proactive, professional relationship with key client stakeholders.
  • Keep the Manager updated on client issues and their progress, highlighting any urgent client concerns or complaints to management immediately
  • Ensure deals are accepted and processed in accordance with fund prospectus and Central Bank guidelines.
  • Ensure all deals are processed with zero error tolerance.
  • Ensure adequate controls are in place around the dealing process.
  • Monitor deal acknowledgement as detailed in client service level agreement (SLA), including intra-day tie outs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of cash availability and prediction reports to fund managers and valuation departments.
  • Ensure Supervisors provide accurate and timely dealing reports to the Cash Team upon which they will instruct payments and pre-advises.
  • Ensure prices and factors entered into the transfer agency register are accurate.
  • Ensure Supervisors perform a daily tie out with valuation departments.
  • Monitor the distribution of daily deal confirmations ensuring that these are sent within the client SLA deliverables.
  • Communicate any significant operational issues that arise to Manager.
  • Ensure Supervisors respond in a professional and proactive manner to any dealing queries received from the client or shareholders.
  • Ensure Supervisors maintain daily/monthly files in a manner suitable for future review by the fund and internal auditors

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Degree in relevant discipline
  • At least 4 years experience in Transfer Agency preferably in Alternative Transfer Agency 
  • Co-ordinate daily/weekly/monthly management information systems (MIS).
  • Ensure projects allocated to you by your line Manager are completed within the deadlines laid down.
  • Ensure BNY  and client standard procedures and controls are adhered to on a daily basis by all staff under your management.
  • Review functional checklists and procedures to ensure sufficient controls are in place to accurately complete functional tasks.
  • Ensure all staff are advised of client and departmental procedural changes, that these changes are understood by all staff and that procedures and checklists are updated to reflect same

Transfer Agency (TA) Cash Oversight Assistant Manager (Senior Associate) is responsible for all Cash Oversight responsibilities in Ireland/Luxembourg, ensuring that the required functions adhere to Ireland Outsourcing and Investor Money Regulations.  The Assistant Manager reports into the Oversight Manager.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

General Cash Responsibilities:

  • Day to day oversight of all Cash Reconciliation operations, including oversight of  Outsourcing Service Provider (OSP) locations.
  • Escalation of Aged and/or Large cash breaks, including Proving & Aging Reporting.
  • Management of Transfer Agency’s Cash Reconciliation systems, including contingency systems/processes.
  • Manage all Cash related projects, ensuring all are: scoped and resourced appropriately; managed closely with agreed milestones; milestones and timelines tracked and documented; progress and issues reported periodically.

Investor Money Responsibilities :

  • Preparation and review of daily Investor Money Reconciliations and Daily Calculations for all Investor Money Collection Accounts where we are acting as the Fund Service Provider.
  • Escalation of any Shortfall or Excess amounts resulting from our Daily Calculation.
  • Liaison with the Finance Team to resolve the Shortfall or Excess.
  • Breach Reporting to Compliance, including instances of Shortfalls, Delays to or non-completion of obligations, Aged reconciliation breaks, etc.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Experience in Transfer Agency or Cash Operations required.
  • Team Lead experience required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of compliance and regulatory issues, including Outsourcing, IMR and anti-money laundering requirements.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • You will support new fund launches by joining client calls, reviewing fund documentation, and ensuring appropriate system setups.
  • Evaluates GAAP and/or IFRS rules to determine the impact of new regulations on BNY fund accounting practices. Provides guidance to teams on the implementation of new policies to follow regulations. 
  • Recruits, guides, motivates, and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. 
  • Leads working relationships with auditors and clients to make changes to financial reports and ensure they accurately depict fund performance. Involved in projects at both a global and client level. Ensures project deliverables are completed in a timely manner and any testing required is completed 
  • Identifying any areas of efficiency in the NAV process and ensuring tasks are automated where possible 
  • Contributes to the achievement of team objectives

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 
  • Professional designation (CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CFA) preferred 
  • Experience in private equity and fund or client accounting
  • Excellent leadership and team collaboration skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Proficiency in accounting software and systems including Investran and Geneva 
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging work environment

During the diligence/integration planning associated with the acquisition, NPTI will partner intimately with Corporate Development, R&D, Finance, Legal and Commercial to ensure the Tech Ops plan meets the objectives of all relevant functions. Since integration usually requires a change in Jazz business processes and present unique challenges, this role requires the ability to develop an innovative strategic framework and then establish a tactical approach which will deliver the deal “imperatives”. In this capacity, the Head will engage with senior leaders across the organization, both inside and outside of Tech Ops, to coach, challenge or otherwise influence so that there is a unified approach to integration consistent with Jazz values and deal imperatives. The position has high accountability and visibility within the Company in terms of technical/risk assessment, coordination inside and outside of Jazz, innovation and decision making, due to the value associated with the deals. This role must be able to operate effectively as an organizational leader, influencing strategies and tactics at the appropriate level, up to the most senior, in all other functional groups in both Jazz and the Partner Company. NPTI is also responsible to assess feasibility of new technologies to improve manufacturing robustness or facilitate life cycle management (LCM) by overseeing studies which will elucidate value and give insight into the development approach.

Essential Functions

  • Accountable for functional aspects of department: budget, staff oversight, performance management and development.

  • Oversee NPTI response to Corporate Development initiatives to ensure it is agile, timely, and appropriately rigorous. Because of the small size of the department, the Head will need to take an appropriate share of these activities on an interim basis.

  • Provide feedback and strategic direction to improve efficiency of diligence process.Oversee the engagement of NPTI with applicable functions during due diligence and integration planning/execution to ensure all functional accountabilities are identified and supported.

  • Ensure activities to deliver deal imperatives and to mitigate risks are properly defined and vetted with SMEs/accountable managers both within Jazz and the License Partner.

  • Challenge teams to adopt innovative approaches which shorten timelines and mitigate risk.

  • Challenge the Tech Ops integration plan to ensure it is technically rigorous, has been thoroughly risk-assessed and meets the strategic imperatives of the deal.

  • Establish and monitor imperatives for the Licensor relationship and direct coaching of the Tech Ops teams as appropriate.

  • Ensure that applicable license and supply agreements are structured to permit/facilitate a broad range of potential approaches to development and/or commercialization.

  • Secure input from senior management to validate approaches and manage limitations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The BNY Markets business helps our clients formulate, implement and operationalise their investment strategies. We are seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Fixed Income and Equities Sales & Trading, to join our Global Markets Trading FIEQ Team. This role is located in Dublin, Ireland.

In this role, you’ll make an impact and support the team in the following ways: 

  • Fixed Income trade execution and client coverage
  • Support Equities execution and client coverage
  • Create, gather and distribute market commentary and strategic content
  • Internal brand development and proactive stakeholder relationship building
  • Monitor client requests and liaise with appropriate teams for resolution/responses 
  • Work with Tech and Product teams globally to enhance FIEQ product offering 
  • Support Best Execution/TCA development 
  • Support strategic initiatives 
  • Enhance market structure awareness 

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • A few years execution experience across Fixed Income products and markets
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 
  • Exposure to FI, Equities & FX.
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure while maintaining a heavy focus on accuracy.
  • Highly numerate both in a theoretical and practical basis

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Depositary Head of Fund Oversight to join our Trust & Depositary team. This role is located in Dublin and is Hybrid.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Work closely with the Head of Fund Oversight to build and Lead a dedicated Depositary oversight and control function which will have primary responsibility for the ongoing oversight of outsourced depositary administrative support tasks and activities together with progressing the onshore completion of all relevant depositary reviews  
  • Design and implement an agile, risk-based plan of Depositary Embedded Control / quality control reviews and activities for the Fund Oversight function, covering both off-shore and onshore processes with a view to ensuring all Depositary Controls are operating effectively and as designed and in line with regulatory requirements / CBI communications.
  • Ensure clear and timely out-put from embedded control reviews / quality control testing activities is provided to the Head of Depositary with recommendations for enhancements documented. 
  • Work closely with the Head of Depositary to enhance existing controls where necessary.
  • Work closely with the Head of Depositary and relevant Depositary Function leads to ensure the function is well prepared for reviews undertaken by 3rd parties including regulatory inspections and the 2nd and 3rd lines of defence. 
  • Work closely with colleagues in other EMEA T&D locations to progress on-going standardization of processes and key controls. 
  • Oversee the implementation within Ireland T&D of all findings and recommendations from 1st , 2nd  and 3rd  Line of Defence reviews pertaining to the Depositary Oversight and Control team and related outsourced activities.
  • Manage the relationship between Ireland T&D and inter-affiliate utilities performing administrative support activities for Ireland T&D. Ensure the quality of service provided by the utility is at a high standard through ongoing embedded control testing / reviews and ensure all aspects of the service fully adhere to regulatory requirements / permissions.
  • Provide updates / reporting on Depositary Oversight Operations and embedded control activities / testing to relevant Ireland Trustee & Depositary governance forums. 
  • Input and report to the Depositary governance forums as required, including deputising for the Head of Depositary as required.
  • Input and participate as required in supporting other ad-hoc projects and tasks as required by the Head of Depositary. 

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Investment Funds Industry
  • Professional qualification in Accountancy discipline desirable
  • Third level qualification to at least degree level preferably in business/legal related discipline.
  • PC Literacy & Ability to operate Depositary and Fund Administration Systems
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to identify risk areas and design review programs accordingly.
  • Strong communication and client relationship management skills.

In this Pre Approved Control Function (PCF) role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

· Ownership and responsibility for overseeing custody services, including safekeeping and ancillary core custody operational services, provided to Irish Regulated Funds serviced by the T&D line of business.

· Ensuring compliance with the Bank of Ireland’s Cross Industry Guidance on Outsourcing, as it relates to custody services.

· Prepare and provide regular key risk / performance indicators and other relevant management information in relation to the ongoing monitoring of the sub-custodian network, escalating urgent matters to the attention of management when applicable.

· Maintain an efficient and robust process around managing ongoing market incidents / issues/ concerns and overseeing / monitoring any such situations in a proactive manner.

· Analyzing regulatory and market trends or changes to determine potential risks to the safekeeping of assets and presenting proposals on how to mitigate risks across the business.

· Strengthen and enhance the control environment by challenging current processes and introducing new control enhancements as needed.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

· In depth knowledge of custody services in particular where they apply to Depositaries.

· Experience of dealing with the regulatory bodies in matters related to thematic reviews, PRISM visits/reviews, outsourcing requirements and general communications preferred.

· Good knowledge of AIFMD and UCITS regulations and their application to Irish Regulated Funds

· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a demanding and highly regulated environment.

Overview
Supporting the Mastercard Cyber and Security Services program members of this team have an opportunity to build new and extend current fraud prevention services. This exciting area within Mastercard is growing fast and creating cutting edge technologies that prevent fraud across the globe.
This is an agile team that will be balanced across full stack engineering. The Senior Software Development Engineer will play a critical role in creating new products and new functionality.

Role
• Build and modify applications using a mix of Java, JavaScript, Spring, Spring Boot, React
• Maintain thorough unit tests and automation tests
• Automate build, operate, and run aspects of software.
• Hunger for Systems and Technical knowledge – constantly analyzing and innovating new, better approaches to our systems
• Perform demos/acceptance discussions in interacting with Product Owners.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members
• Actively work with testers, business analysts and other engineers to ensure requirements are met and tested from end-to-end

All About You
The ideal candidate would have the following PRIMARY skills:
• Experienced in Java development, design patterns, threading, unit testing, debugging and Spring Boot
• Experience with front end frameworks (preferably React/Typescript).
• Experience with REST service design and development
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
• High degree of initiative and self-motivation with a willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong relationship, collaborative and organization skills
• Comfortable sharing ideas, asking questions and seeking help through tools like Teams or Slack.
