Job Description

The Strategic Planning and Governance Lead will join the Strategic Planning and Governance Team, which forms part of the wider Citibank Europe Plc (CEP) Chief Operating Office. The CEP Chief Operating Office drives cross-enterprise initiatives and consistency, governance and end-to-end process alignment. This is a high-profile role with significant exposure to senior leadership. This opportunity will provide unique insights into Citi during a time of growth in Europe. This role will report directly to the Strategy and Governance Head within the CEP Chief Operating Office.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Responsible for the end-to-end buildout, delivery and management of the CEP Strategic Plan across multiple business lines, CEP's Branches, functional areas and its principal subsidiary.
+ The development of the CEP Strategic and Operating Plan is a regulatory requirement and the candidate will be responsible for managing interdependencies, ensuring consistency and delivering a coherent and cohesive Strategy, including development of ongoing monitoring of same.
+ The candidate will be expected to work across all of CEP's business and functional lines and assess the wider strategic book of work activities including our CEP digitalisation strategy.
+ Management of the end-to-end governance of execution and delivery of the plan including implementation of robust procedures and effective risk and control management.
+ Work as part of the wider Strategic Planning and Governance team and assess appropriate governance pathways and ongoing governance activities across the entity.
+ Ability to synthesize a wide set of information into executive ready views for senior executives including Executive Management meetings, Board of Director updates, Strategy documents.
+ Provide key management updates and analysis for a board range of book of work activities.
+ Follow emerging industry trends and potential disrupters to segments and strategic risk.
+ Deliver specific ad-hoc analysis and tactical support in preparation for business and management meetings.
+ Demonstrate a significant grasp of the organization, the business, and the markets to deliver crisp and succinct executive-level responses.
+ Grasp key priorities and complex issues quickly for the larger organization and create clear written presentations/communications.
+ Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.
+ Analyse data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
+ Performs other duties and functions as assigned.

Are you ready to challenge the boundaries of what's possible? AECOM continues to expand their successful Transport Planning team in Dublin. As part of a wider growth initiative linked to our strategic plan, we are currently seeking to appoint an individual to join our Transport Planning Team as Associate Director.
**About You**
You are a highly motivated, organised, and proactive leader with a proven track record in delivering transport solutions. With extensive experience in leading diverse teams in a fast-paced environment, you have excelled in planning and delivering projects mainly for public sector clients. As a leader, you are responsible for fostering a culture of success, engagement, and development within the team while ensuring the successful management of projects from inception to completion.

**Technical Excellence:** you will support technical excellence and business with specific focus on client engagement, project delivery and technical resource development.
**Oversee:** This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our leadership team's focus on people, clients, technical excellence, operational efficiencies and sustainable growth.
**Deliver:** Drive the technical delivery of transport planning projects drawing expertise/resources from across AECOM UK & I. Take responsibility for project delivery including technical focus, quality, programme, budget and resource management.
**Collaboration:** Support to the wider Planning Ireland business as Project Manager for some of our key projects with responsibility for programme, budget and resource management. Collaborate with project managers and national Technical Experts to identify/allocate resources effectively and optimise delivery performance.

**Qualifications**
**Ready to push the limits of what's possible?**
_Here's what we're looking for:_
+ Membership of a recognized, relevant professional body.
+ Min. Bachelor's degree in transport/urban planning or engineering, civil engineering, project management or a related field.
+ Experienced Associate Director, preferably within a multi-disciplinary consultancy
+ Strong understanding of the transportation sector, regulatory and policy frameworks, and socio-political drivers.
+ Demonstrated success in project management and technical excellence in transport planning.
+ Proven track record in developing and growing client relationships.
+ Strong experience in project appraisal and evaluation would be advantageous.
