reporting to the Head of Planning & Portfolio Management (PPM).
The duration of this post is
12 months

Working

the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of
€32.54 per hour

This exciting role involves promoting collaboration and facilitating communication between client and client Business areas to develop business cases and proposals for funding submissions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• A track record of 2+ years successfully managing specific aspects within the planning/delivery of large scale project(s) within a medium - large scale organisation.
• Experience of budget planning, financial management and resource management processes
• Relevant experience of engaging with senior stakeholders and management as relevant to this role.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of project management methodology to enable successful project performance and delivery. (Prince 2, Agile, Waterfall)
• Work with the key stakeholders to define project requirements, scope and plans and manage the progress and completion of all project tasks and activities using recognised project management tools.
• Develop documentation to support project approvals and implementation including business case, requirements, project plans etc.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills: the ability to quickly grasp and understand complex issues and the impact on service delivery
• The ability to gather and analyse information from relevant sources, weighing up a range of critical factors to integrate ideas into a common vision

• Manage a delivery team of land referencers, GIS Technicians and data managers
• Have a working knowledge of the DCO, CPO or hybrid Bill processes to support technical delivery.
• Support the development and delivery of bids for future opportunities.

Qualifications

• Membership of a Professional Institution
• APM PMQ , Prince2 or similar Project Management qualification

• Ability to coordinate the submission of accurate reports to predetermined deadlines
• Understanding of project management, project controls and procedures normally associated with a major integrated infrastructure project

A Day In The Life
The PL Is accountable for the overall delivery of the project (quality, time, cost) on behalf of the organization. Establishes and communicates customer expectations to the project team with minimal direction. Ensures that escalation pathways are adhered to internally and externally. Purpose
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join the PMO (Project Management Office/Centre of Excellence) . This is a key role in supporting excellence in project

Qualifications & Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Business (required).

· Formal project management certification is an advantage.

· Minimum 2 years' experience in a project management or project engineering role, preferably in the automation, manufacturing, or related technical industries.

· Experience working in a regulated environment is a plus.

As part of our ongoing growth, we are hiring a Project Manager. Initially, this role will be based on a new project in South Dublin.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including Commercial, Pharmaceutical, Mission Critical, Residential, Industrial, and more.

Key responsibilities:

Delivery:

• Responsible for the Management, Coordination & Execution of the full Project Scope of works or an identified scope of works or package of works on a Project, including the delivery of all such designated site activities, whilst meeting the project objectives set out for H&S, Design, Technical, Quality, Program and Commercial.

Team:

• Lead, manage and motivate their team members, driving a high-performance culture through developing people to their full potential.
• Develop, maintain and foster collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and all other project stakeholders.

Thinking:

• Seek and promote continuous improvement & best practice across their team and the wider project team, including exploring new methods, approaches and technologies to improve project delivery.
• Execute ongoing short to medium term effective project planning to mitigate project risks and deliver on stakeholder expectations.

Specific Requirements

• Relevant Third level Degree in Engineering
• 7+ years post-qualification experience
• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager running large projects particularly with refurbishment and fit-out projects
• It is also preferable that candidates have worked their way up through the ranks with a main building contractor
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
