Key Objectives / Accountabilities:

NBI is looking for a Junior QA Tester who wants to join a busy development team. The Junior QA reports to the Test Lead, and works with technology solutions to craft test cases manually and using automated test frameworks in a variety of platforms and systems. Senior SDET - Java, API Testing, UI Testing, Test Automation, Selenium, Cypress, JavaScript, Typescript, Playwright, CI/CD, Jenkins, Oracle, , Cloud

I am seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join my client who is a leading financial services firm based in Dublin. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that deliver personalised, consistent digital experiences for our users around the world.

Ideally you will have over 6 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering with hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams from design through delivery
  • Defining and developing automation frameworks and test strategies
  • Creating and managing test data, cases, and results
  • Participating in all Agile ceremonies
  • Ensuring solutions are testable and maintain high quality standards

Key Skills:

  • Java and JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cucumber
  • Familiarity with frameworks and package managers
  • Relational databases - MySQL, Oracle
  • CI/CD Pipelines - Jenkins
  • Cloud - AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with desktop application is beneficial but not essential

This will be an initial 12 month contract paying up to €450 per day. You will be required to attend the office 1 week per month, the other 3 weeks you can work remotely from Ireland.

You must have Citizenship or stamp 4 to be eligible for this position.
